My wife and I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was comfortable, the rooms were clean with good quality furnishings, the restaurants had excellent service with good menus.and versatile between tne bar and the dining room. There was a good choice of wines. The seafront site of the hotel was excellent. My wife and I consider it to be very good value for money We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival I found that my room had not properly been cleaned. I was immediately given a sincere apology and offered another room. Not really a problem as it was put right: mistakes happen. I also didn't like the hotel car park, rather small with short and narrow parking spaces - OK if you have a small car.

Good location and good breakfast. Bed not very comfortable, needs a memory foam topper mattress on top of existing mattress plus bigger pillows, television in odd place to watch, needs to be wall mounted, water not very hot. Snack food in bar expensive, £9.50 for a jacket potatoe.

Friendly, efficient & courteous staff in all departments that we encountered. We stayed as we had arrived by ferry from Spain so this was an ideal place to overnight before onward travel, also travelling with a pet and no issues with either.Would stay again.

Location by the sea. Reasonable price. Very little noise. Friendly attentive staff. No easy chair in my room and nowhere other than the bar where one could relax.

The room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities needed for an over night stay . The breakfast was excellent and all the staff in the hotel were very pleasant. There was no where to park as we arrived after 7 and the car park was full we had to park around the corner and walk with our luggage. Obviously it is first come first served but I did wonder if there was provision for less able guests.

My first impression was of a tired old hotel, but the longer we stayed the more it grew on me. The staff we very attentative, on reception and the restaurant. Everyone had a polite manner. The worst aspect is parking arrangements, probably not a lot could be done because of restictions. The head board on bed was very hard and I managed to bang my head on it. Also the pillows were thin, and uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel, reasonably priced and ideal for all parties. A couple of things. The trouser press wasn't working and the staff seemed to already know that. The tv lost most of its channels in the morning due to lost signal.

It was warm and comfortable and all the facilities we needed. We were a little put off that people booking out were paying rather less per night than we were but we had agreed to the price so no problem, may negotiate another time. Bigger beds, most people now have king size beds at home and so a double seems very small

A good Bestern Hotel situated in a prime location, we had an excellent room with a Sea View, onsuite and very spacious, The food was very good we had an English Breakfast one day and a Continental breakfast the other morning. We dined in the restaurant for dinner on the first Evening, and enjoyed the meal and wine, that we decided to Dine in the hotel on our second evening instead of going out. The hotel was very busy with a Wedding on The Saturday and a Wedding festival on the sunday but this did not get in our way or spoill our stay in any way Overall a very good visit
