the hotel location was fantastic & staff were friendly...just that our triple sharing room was stuffy as our room was facing back lane with one of the windows broken. |

The location is good. It is close to the bus stop from the airport and the sightseeing spot. The kettle and tea packs is equipped in the room. They are very helpful. I wish the elevator was working up to the floor we stayed. |

Very central to Waverley station, the castle and other tourist attractions. No air conditioning, traffic noise being on Princes st |

Fantastic location in the heart of the city which was primary to all our needs during our short stay. The night time staff seemed rather jumped up. |

One of the best features of the Hotel is it's location, particularly if you're a train traveller. You can virtually "fall out of your bed" and you're on the platform of Edinburgh Waverley Station. Also, it's right on top of all the shops. Staff were very polite and the bedroom was perfectly fine. It's not a new modern hotel, but it would be great for a business trip or city visit. |

Reception staff was very friendly and he kindly has chosen me a double quiet room with the price of a single room as I had asked for a quiet room. To my surprise if you want to leave you luggage and pick them up later, they keep them in a secure room and give you a number to pick it up later. This was totally against a previous guest review. To me it shows their dedication to improve. |

Staff were most helpful. They left clean towels etc outside my room when they could not get in. Left luggage available and later check out time of 12md. I arrived early and was given a complimentary coffeee while they rushed my room cleaning. |

It's centrality - easy to access what we wanted to see, the helpfulness and efficiency of the staff, checking in and out was easy, great view of the city from my room Price of cooked breakfast, particularly because I'm a vegetarian - I was given half a tomato, three mushrooms and a fried egg. I didn't know that I could have ordered vegetarian sausages the day before. |

It was a very convenient location Our room was facing the main road and it was very noisey. Something should be done to block the noise |

The location was excellent! The reception staff were nice but I thought some of the other staff could have been a bit friendlier and more pleasant. |

The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. A nice building, but perhaps could benefit from a little updating. |

great location, great view Mattresses were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. My friend swears her bed had a spring poking through the mattress--she put an extra blanket over the area in order to get some sleep. Shower stall had black mold growing in the grout. Windows did not close all of the way so the room was noisy and cold. |
