We travelled for over 5hrs to use your hotel. I had highlighted on the 'on line' application and , out of courtesy, called to explain we would be arriving late. On arrival we were, eventually, met ( not greeted) by a very rude and abrupt night reception staff. We were given our keys and, with no explanation, eventually found our way to our rooms (318 & 319). On entering our rooms they were unbearably hot, like a sauna! I returned to reception and eventually managed to get their attention, whilst I was polite and courteous the reception 'manager' was not. I explained the rooms were too hot, we had tried to open the windows and could someone please explain or attend to turn off our heating! He stated, it goes off at midnight, it was 2335hrs, and then shrugged! I returned to our rooms and waited, very uncomfortably, until 0035hrs when I could not fake anymore. I asked for some fan or cooling method equipment. 10minutes later we had a very small single table top fan. I then realised that this Hotel had very poor management and I was fighting a losing battle. I regularly use Hotels Cross the UK and Europe. This was the worst nights sleep I can recall!!
In the morning, we attended the dining facility for Breakfast-0805hrs. Again, eventually, we were met ( not greeted) and shown to a space, we made the best of 2x 2 seater tables for the 3 of us. We did not receive any explanation of what to do or where to go! I asked a waiter how we could get hot drinks, he replied: "You just ask someone" and then. Unbelievably, walked away! I as,ed him if he could provide hot drinks ( 2 Coffees and 1 tea) he looked like I asked for his kidneys!! He then returned, plonked down 3 x flasks, all of them Tea!! nO cups, No milk. I then went around other tables and retrieved Cups, Milk and Sugar. We then approached the Breakfast buffet, only to discover there was: No Eggs, No Bacon, No tomatoe. The hash browns were a sludgy mass!
Very little, the dining tables were nicely laid, the Flowers were dead!
