The hotel looked good from the outside. The bar and the Kareoki, the excessive noise in my room from a wedding party.

Good greeting at reception & very helpfull receptionist But from there it all went downhill, room overlooked courtyard at rear of hotel where there was a wedding reception in progress, noise until 1/ 2 am then bottles and glasses collected, had a drink in the bar, dirty tables left unattended, found prescription tablet on bedroom floor, we were stopping on our way back from Rochdale, as a previous employee of a Best Western Hotel in Cumbria I thought that I would book into a Best Western Hotel, It was meant to be a treat for my wife who in Rochdale had just undergone a 2hr interview followed by a presentation, have to say very dissapointed.

Nice clean room and comfy bed. Very poor breakfast. Not worth paying nearly 8 pounds for. Most items not replaced, no fresh fruit.

The pool and jacuzzi was brilliant and the room was very good. The reception staff were very rude and wouldnt like to go back to the hotel knowing my hard earned money was paying there wages.

The building is very solid so is very noise-insulated. There was a wedding going on downstairs with a disco and very loud music and people having a good time. Up in my room there was silence. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was nice and it overlooked the sea. I really liked this hotel. There was no space in either their front or back car park. It would have suited me better if they hadn't opened up their car park to the general public on a pay-and-display basis, so there was no priority for hotel guests. Still I guess it makes economic sense for them to do what they have.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great. They made efforts to respond to having neighbouring rooms got us as it was the first time our girls were in a separate room to us. The jacuzzi was lovely. The bed was the hardest one I've experienced in my life! The pool, although nicely designed, was disconcertingly unclear.... Enough to make it hard to spot diving sticks for some time at the deep end.

I liked it's sea front location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel, although clean and tidy, is looking very dated and in need of an upgrade, as rather old fashioned.
