We got an upgrade to our initial booking, from a standard double room to a superior room, upon arrival due to renovation works; very lucky! The room (1st floor, lift ok) was in perfect condition, renovated and equiped with everything a small family may need for a week, including kitchen applinces, cuttlery etc. Very warm and quiet, spacious and well furnished. Location is perfect for Hyde Park, Museums, shopping No complaints, taking inot account that we've been missing form the room from 11.00am till 11.00pm.

Our studio apartment was very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the hotel from Paddington Station, and the Lancaster Gate Tube Station 2 blocks away made all London destinations convenient. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Overall, a comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Wi-fi was available only in the reception room.

Great location, and we were upgraded to a suite, so fantastic value. Corridor carpets, wallpaper etc looked a bit worn, but to be expected in a London hotel of this price. Would be nice to have wifi in rooms.

Clean and tidy room with everything required. Good service by staff, roomy and comfortable Apartment was on level 5, lift only went to level 4 and we had to drag our bags up two flights of stairs. Hotel is clearly old and tired. Hallways and stairs were grubby. Lift call was unpredictable.

The service is great. The prices are very competitive, and great value for money. The room was big, for the price, and included all amenities. Excellent service, excellent room, brilliantly clean, and incredibly helpful staff. I happened to leave my keys at the Hotel during my stay (the keys are very important), and the receptionists helped to find alternative ways of sending them back to me.

Convenience. I had stayed there once before and had been given a nice room. The room I was initially offered was cramped and extremely shabby. Upon asking for another, the replacement was not much better. I am aware that the rate offered was extremely low. But I have stayed in accommodation at a similar price that is infinitely better and I do not intend to stay at rca again

Good location (even if there are many building yards near Paddington). The room was great, the living room and the bathroom were new and everything was clean. Cranky floor. I specifically asked a double bed, but I found two single beds and the receptionists couldn't solve the situation.

Great location, 20 minutes from heathrow on heathrow express, 10 by bus to the city centre, hyde park is right round the corner. 2 underground stations are within 5 mins walk Surprisingly spacy rooms, very clean indeed, comfortable beds. Girls, this one is for you: there is NO hairdryer in the room! You can borrow one from the reception, for circa 10 pounds for your stay. Quite upsetting. they have a toaster in the room, as if it is of more importance. So just add 10 to your total sum. Another thing that put me off a bit: in the bathroom there is literally nowhere to put your stuff like shampoos etc when you're showering. no hangers whatsoever. Ultimately you will have to open the shower cabin (and let the cold in and water out) to take it from wherever you put your bottles. You may want to reconsider your list of bathroom essentials to take with you. they said our room (105) had been refurbished recently. The impression was that their recently was 3-5 years ago. So, do ask for a refurbished room, not refurbished might happen to be a disaster, judging by the overall condition of our room (fine, but not perfect)

The Royal Court Apartments are conveniently located near a tube stop and just north of Hyde Park, so right near the center of London. The staff was helpful overall. The room was clean and met our basic needs. The staff responded immediately when we called down regarding loud noise from the room above us. 1) Some difficulty with communication and language barrier. 2) No washcloths in the room. 3) We had asked in advance whether hair dryers were available. We were told yes, but what we weren't told was that we had to ask for a dryer each day or pay a deposit. Due to the language barrier I returned the hair dryer after using it the first day. I then requested that evening to get a dryer and give a deposit, but was told that no dryers were available and that someone should be bringing one back soon. 4) Hot room with lots of street noise. We booked twice at Royal Court Apartments during our vacation, once at the beginning of the trip and once at the end after returning from Scotland. Because of this, we stayed in two different rooms. The biggest problem with the first room was the street noise. There is no air conditioning and the room was very warm and we had to leave the windows open (this was in March, so summer may be brutal). Due to the street noise it was difficult to get any rest. The second room we stayed in was on the back side of the building. No problem with street noise, but on the 4th floor so that it was even hotter! The room was so warm that it was difficult to fall asleep even with the windows open and a fan running. Fortunately our room was at the end of a hallway so we were able to leave the room door open part of the time to improve ventilation, but sleeping was tough.

Room was very big and clean, Nice location very close to the station, nice kitchen facility We stayed in the room 409 which is located just behind the lifts. the noise of old lifts moving up and down and people walking down the corridor really annoys us. (traffic noise was not too bad) Honestly, it was the most noisy room I have ever stayed. Although we have managed to get used to the noise in few days. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone who is a light sleeper. I may stay here again if I wasn't in the room next to the lift...

I like the location, nearby to bus stops and metro stations. The apartment we had was bad. The bathroom was leaking and there was a lot of noise whenever we flush or use the water. The living room smell bad with furnitures from the 80s/90s era.

The location is excellent very near to Lancaster Gate Underground Station and also very well connected via bus. Also the airport shuttle stops nearby. It's located very near to Hyde Park and is within walking distance to many atractions. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. It has a little kitchen which helps a lot in London if you have a limited budget. I had stayed before and the rooms look older, very little maintenance if any. The rug looked old as well as almost anything in the room. The safe had no batteries so we couldn't use it at first, but the staff fixed it right away. Overall its good value for the money if you use the room just for sleeping.

Location is great, it is about 10 mins walk away from paddington station. And it is actually nearer to Lancaster Gate underground. This is the only place I want to stay again , if I come to london again. There is a kitchenette, with stove, microwave. Utensils and cutlery, but must clean up ourselves after use. Hair dryer is available from the reception. So far this is my third room in Royal Court, and all 3 have been spacious. They have now improve wifi, a new point on the 2nd floor. So some lucky ones can access this from the room ( mine was at 3rd floor, and I can access) Cranky floors. If I can hear upstairs, then I am sure I am disturbing the people downstairs. Perhaps now that wifi can be access free from more rooms, the internet connections seem more intermittent.

The location. We stayed 8 nights. The room earlier allotteed (no. 301) was unfit to stay - broken furniture, worn out carpet, dirty toilet and very stuffy. My daughter developed rashes on her face in the morning. While Satish, at the front desk, coorperated and changed the room the next night, it was very apparant that his colleague (perhaps his boss) did not like this move at all. My advise - please check the room before you check-in! There is no provision for any food or drinks in the lounge, except tea and coffee.

I really liked the affordability and the location. I stayed in room 101 and it has a very drafty window. I would recommend that it be properly weatherized.

The staff are helpful and friendly, our room was excellent, we were lucky to be put into one of the recently updated apartments, the kitchen was very good with full size cooker, and every thing you needed. The large flat screen TV was also appreciated.

Fantastic location, just 2 mins walk to Lancaster Gate station and very easy to find. Hotel staff nice enough. We had a 1 bed apartment and we were very comfortable for our two day stay. Building slightly dated and the floors above squeaked a bit.
