I liked the location, the staff (pete) was a great friendly host, the Hotel was cosey and always well heated throughout. for the budget price I paid I was well pleased with the single room and service, and I would deffinately stay there again. Thanks Guys. Carl Nelson
The weather at the time I stayed, but hey who controls that ? :-)
Peter could not do more for us. Made us feel very welcome. Breakfast. Excellent hot plates hot food. Will be going back in may
Very friendly host who couldnt be more helpful. Hotel clean and comfortable, all you need for a short stay.
you get what you pay for, excellent value for money. not good but fair good breakfast
Hotel was clean and owner was very friendly indeed. Full English breakbest was also included.
Furnisher in the hotel was little outdated and a bad smell from the shower plug hole so had the keep the bathroom door closed.
Dirty shower one towel for a couple no tea or coffee room and hotel needs upgrading owners pleasant
Where it was
Bedroom was not clean. Floors, bathroom, sides, marks all over the floor, walldrobes and chest of drawers falling apart. Kettle was dirty cups not clean. It was unexepectabl for what we paid and would never say there again
Great location and lovely breakfast
Excellent breakfast but only had white bread
Blackpool is looking very run down a lot of derelict buildings
The bed was very comfortable. Location - near to North Pier and nightlife. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice.
Breakfast was fab the welcome very good just the way we like it easy going ,
The shower was a bit small but ,hey that's life no big deal
Everything was lovely, the staff especially and made us feel really welcome
There are no dislikes.
Couldn't have a shower the next morning. Had been warned hot water takes a while to get through. But we had no water at all!
The gentleman who greeted us was helpful.
The room was very scruffy , dated and in need of a coat of paint .No hot water in the tap in the morning so unable to shower .
very pleasant staff good on street parking or 5mins walk from train station
Good night's sleep and breakfast
Everything, the shower was dirty full of hairs had soap in from the previous guest.the room was absolutely freezing one towel between two people would of been charged for another £1 for extra tea and coffee.two people came for breakfast at 9.33 3 minutes late thay where told thay where late and breakfast had finished.all in all would never stay hear again and wouldent recommend to any one else
Cheap hotel close to sea front.
Small room. Tiny shower. Adequate for price paid but would sooner pay more and have something better
The location that's all.
Everything the room was tiny very cold old fashioned. My friends stayed opposite this hotel for the same price but the hotel was far more elegant!! Won't be returning.
After booking this hotel I read the reviews. I started to think I had made a wrong booking. On arrival we were made very welcome we were shown to our room. The room was very spacious and clean, could it be more modern and up dated then I would say yes. The breakfast was very nice and served hot, at a clean, well presented laid out table.
My only recommendation would be to remove the bathroom carpet, this would be more hygienic and easy to clean.
The staff and the food were lovely.
The rooms were quite dark and they smelt of smoke which can be off putting.
Liked the fact how close we were to shops and attractions etc.
location great ... breakfast good ... owner very pleasant
bedroom needs updating wardrobe & drawers seen better days ... bit of a tight squeeze in en-suite
If you're coming to see the sights of blackpool this is a great location. It was quiet on the road it's on so good night sleep but close enough to get amongst the hustle and bustle! Bed was comfy, clean room and shower, topped off with lovey full English breakfast in the morning! Would stop again.
