Really friendly staff. Good restaurant. Very welcoming and cosy. Rowdy residents in room close to ours. Didn't get much sleep on the Friday night of our stay. But cant really blame the hotel for that.

Excellent breakfasts. Selection of bars.. Comfy bed...very helpful staff.. Good location for beach., We had very noisey front room overclub which shut at 2.00am... Also facing roundabout.. Wonder if because cheaper online booking! woken twice in early hours by fire alarm being set off from club/ private fuction... offered 20%discount off next visit, should have been taken off this visit as I have ill health and may not get back there again...staff very pleasant while dealing with complaint.. be prepared for very young cliental Fri/Sat at open bars - but gave jolly atmosphere not place for quiet drink!

The staff of the hotel were very friendly. I arrived late and they ensured that I was received well. The breakfast was very good with vegeterian option. The rooms allocated through booking.com might not be the best rooms available in the hotel.

We like the fact that it is central. Room was a bit too noisey and pilows were uncomftable, but would not stop us from returning with our own pillows!! And change of room maybe? Any offers? Pillows and noisey room.

I loved the personal touch, nothing was to much trouble. The room was excellent, the service of the staff was 100 per cent. I would use it again as it was value for money and it beats the local travel inns hands down. I There is a bit of noise but you are told about it upon arrival. It did not spoil my weekend and in future I will ask for a room at the back.

Great location for central Bournemouth and especially the BIC. Car park is barrier controlled and felt secure. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Radiator in bedroom was like a blast furnace - and we could not adjust it. This contrasted with the huge bathroom that was freezing cold due to no heating bar a tiny towel rail that had no effect. Lack of residents bar was disappointing in the evening - both bars in the hotel are 'cocktail' types and open to all. We went in both, both were packed, we couldn't get served so went along the road and found the superb '60 million postcards' bar (highly recommended)

Friendly staff,efficient check-in with attention to requests for rooms to be situated away from noisy bar.Double bed for single use .Fresh decor and nice biscuits! Attempt to book table in restaurant difficult despite saying we would only be there from 6-7pm (the table was booked for 8pm) Noise and vibration from bar noticeable even on 3rd floor!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Sadly the evening meal we had in the restaurant did not come up to expectations, we felt it was over priced for the quality of the meal, although the cooked breakfast was excellent.

Polite staff nothing to much trouble clean rooms , comfy bed Well asked for a smoking room and the first room offererd on entering smelt like a ash tray I suppose thats what I asked for but last time I had a smoking room it smelt fresh on entering,and it was summer so smoked out the window anyway ,the room was at the top of the house and acctually didnt think that room was worth the money , bad reception on the telly bad angle to watch it felt dingy, anyway like I said my fault its just I smoke out side most of the time and didnt want to sleep in that smell, but asked to be moved and you gave me a non smoking room and that was fab ,and it will teach me not to be lazy next time lol but hasent put me off, really like the hotel and staff

Friendly staff and nice clean room. Evening meal was delicious and the option of a full english breakfast was included in the price making it very good value for money. Had my all time favourite dessert, creme brulee but whilst it was cooked properly and tasted lovely, it wasn't set...disappointing ;(

I have stayed before I like the location and very much enjoy the food in the 1812 Restaurant and the entertainment in the Bar also the rooms are very well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and relatives. Unfortunately this time the breakfast was not up to the standard of our previous visits it was quite cold and we had to wait for the toast and tea.
