Great bar and friendly staff, especially the breakfast team.

The room was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. We would certainly stay there again.

I arrived very late owing to my train being severely delayed. The staff were great about that. The room was perfect for 1 person. I treated myself to a room service breakfast having had a very stressful day the day before and that was lovely. It was a last minute decision to travel down to see the Osmonds at their final concert during their uk tour and I am glad I did. The comfy bed was great to come back to after a very exhausting and stressful day!

We had a double room and a cousin had a single, the rooms were excellant, clean . Service from staff could not have been more freindly, Food was very good. We did not sample the evening meal, but I am sure when we visit again we will. Although there is live music in the bars during late evening, The Staff did their best to make sure it did not disturb the Hotel Patrons. Thank you. It was also nice to have a secure car park,

The staff were very friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The room was very clean and tidy and we would defiantely stay there again when we go to the bic.

The close proximity to the Bouremouth Conference Centre.

Although the building is old, we found it is kept to a good standard of decor and is comfotable.

I feel the hotel should have its own "residents only bar" and not have to push and queue for drinks in the 1812 bar.with the general public.

This Hotel has a split personality - great by day , only suitable for teenagers at night. When we arrived everything was great - great location , very helpful reception staff , nice comfortable (if a little small) room. Great burger for lunch in the 'so bar' and excellent service - they even brought a table out of the store and put it in a sunny spot specially for us. We then went out in the evening to a concert at the Bournemouth centre right across the road. We thought we'd come back to the same great service and have a snack and a drink in the bar before bed - but thats where it went terribly wrong.

The hotel has two bars - one either side of reception, and a function room on the lower floor. At night Both the bars had become night clubs , one with a live band and one with a disco - both extremely loud and both were absolutely crammed full of drunken 19 - 20 year olds . We were even asked to queue to get in - because they were so full - I explained that we were residents and with a bit of an argument we were allowed to jump the Queue , but then we waited over 30 minutes trying to get served We eventually gave up and went into reception , the receptionists went into the bar and got us a drink but even that took 15 minutes . Having had our drink we wanted a snack but there was nothing available other than the room service sandwich menu- we ordered two £6.50 sandwiches that turned out to be two slices of dry bread with half a slice of ham between them and a packet of crisps dumped on the plate. Getting to sleep was then a problem with loud music pumping out from the bars and the wedding in the function room until 2:30 and then drunken shouting in the car park until at least 4am Avoid this hotel if you want to have a quiet drink or snack in the bar before bed , or if you actually want to sleep.

Location to Bic was primary reason for a show we had booked and were very pleased with the hotel. Room was very comfortable with good service from very friendly staff. Would certainly use you again. Lovely breakfast and nice stroll along seafront before leaving for home. Altogether a very nice experience. Thank you.

Everything that you want all under one roof- great restaurant, live music and night club. Staff are all really friendly and helpful too.
