Room (once I got what I reserved) was beautiful. Good view of High Street Kensington, and great location (five minutes walk to the tube, right at the park). They also tried to stick me with the "booking.com upgrade" to the accessible room on the 2nd floor overlooking the air conditioning plant. I complained over the phone and got no response, so had to walk down and complain in person to get the room I reserved ("with London views"). Hotel was also under construction, which made getting in / out a bit tricky, but this was a minor point. |

Location is pretty good for our purpose and the chinese restaurant is top. The hotel entrance is undergoing a renovation and that should have been mentioned before booking. |

The special thing about the hotel is the location, you has the buzz of the busy high street on one side and the tranqillity of Kensington park on the other.. We stayed during major alterations to the hotel and thus the layout was very confusing.... Keep getting lost untill we finally good the hang of it...! |

Breakfast was a pleasant relaxing start to the day with an excellent chioce of good food. The facility for freshly coocked eggs was most enjoyable. We were advised that it was not necessary to book a taxi for Saturday night. Our experience showed that this advice was incorrect. |

Excellent room - quiet, comfortable with a good view. Excellent location for shopping, the Royal Albert Hall and transport links around London. Staff were welcoming and courteous. I thought the cost of breakfast was quite expensive on top of the room rate. |

The location of the hotel is superior … everything is just close to you! … the street is very secured due to the diplomatic offices allocated there … our room was over viewing the Hyde Park lake … |

Very comfortable bed and good quality pillows. Excellent room. Breakfast was too expensive. We went across the road and had a superb breakfast for half the cost of the Royal Garden price. |
