I couldn't fault anything about the hotel. Definitely stay again
Location is fantastic hotel brilliant staff efficient and yet for the price I hankered after something a bit more special. Take for example the tea/coffee set in room. A bit mean that you only get 1packet of 2 biscuits and 4 milk jiggers between the 2 of you!!! No extra blankets either.
Good location right next to Kensington Gardens and near museums
Noisy air conditioning at night and rather tired looking cooked breakfast buffet
Staff particularly helpful and very friendly. Very good value for a brilliantly located central London hotel.
Cleanliness,Staff, rooms are lovely,
Having to leave!!
I like this hotel its convenient, comfortable and the staff are excellent, facilities are good
the price, way too expensive for a small room at the front of a main road hotel. I know I can vote with my feet and in the future i will.
Great position for Hyde Park. Very comfy rooms. Very professional staff.
most staff where very attentive
first day at breakfast we waited for ever for coffee, then my porridge then three times I had to ask before my milk came and by this time it was cold.
Spotlessly clean, excellent lighting facilities, decoration, quietness.
From check in till check out was amazing stay. Fantastic park view, near the shops, quiet stay and excellent service
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, lovely room and very nice hotel. All round very pleased! Will defiantly recommend and will defiantly come back!
The only down point was the noise of the lifts! We were in a room quite far from them but we could hear them all the time.
Close to the Albert Hall where we were attending a concert at the Proms. Enjoyed tourist sights nearby and ease of tube station just along from the hotel. Great shops too. Many thanks for your excellent service.
I've already stayed at this hotel before. The location is good, Kensington High Street is very central and full of shops. The hotel is more like an american styled hotel than one of those european ambients.
The staff at this hotel is very, but very poorly trained. Besides that, you don't find too many british born staff members that understand that a guest is there to be served. They have an attitude and this is not acceptable. In my case, there was no sweat, I know how to draw limits to people. However, I saw many clients getting a not so great treatment.
paying for internet
The service was excellent as were the thoughtful touches to celebrate our birthdays. We enjoyed the lovely afternoon tea and opted for the tea ceremony which was interesting and beautifully done. The upgrade to a garden room was much appreciated.
The air vent in the room was noisy at night which was difficult for a light sleeper.Pehaps a room lower down would be less noisy.
We had a lovely room - more spacious than most in London. Afternoon tea was wonderful
Suite layout and very comfortable bed Complimentary chocolates Room service was virtually instant ! Fresh milk is provided with compliments Conceirge service and reception staff were excellent
Small amount of tea bags on tray however ordered room service most of the time.
Great location and very helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
No free wifi
Quality of facilities, staff and location
Very expensive WiFi charges - out of step with a good hotel
Really liked the way the staff, all staff, treated you as a person and not just a number!
Outside noise penetration even on the 7th floor, but it is central London.
The room and cleanliness
The hotel is great, the only draw back is the fact that wifi does not come free with the room. Most hotels now a days give free wifi
- The hotel is close to the hop-on hop off bus station which is convenient to tourists like us. - Kensington park gives a beautiful view. - The concierges are nice and helpful to us as they know London best and give us very good advices. we even can buy a ticket to some tourist attractions with their help. - Despite the fact that I've complained few times about the electronic key to my room, the help desk is patient and kind. - The restaurants are good, especially I like to have breakfast at the hotel and the Chinese restaurant nice with great scenery.
The electronic key didn't work well. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and I have been locked out of my room for 4 times at night when I got back from my tour around London.
