With London's ridiculous prices, the value of this hotel is pretty good, believe it or not. The breakfast staff was very friendly. The room was reasonably clean with fairly new toilet facilities. Many tube lines and supermarkets within walking distance.
The reception person wasn't always available which made, for example, checking in quite stressful. The room was very small and had very little space to store or put down clothes or other stuff. A coat hanger or something would be nice. The soaps were so bad quality I had to buy my own. And there was only one towel. I would expect at least a bathmat or a hand towel. Streetnoise woke me up in the mornings in spite of earplugs.
The breakfast space was lovely and the breakfast was good too
Staff smoking outside our open bedroom window
the restaurants are near
people on the reception
Lack of parking I had to park in the shopping center multi storey and as I don't know london very well prior knowledge would have been helpful
The breakfast was tasty and that staff was very attentive.
There were holes in the curtains. Toilet jutted into sink-minimal space for legs. Beds were cots with minimal bedding. No bath mat-had to ask for an extra towel to use as a bath mat. Minimal attentiveness by staff. The one positive note was the breakfast in the owning-nicely done and helpful staff there. My husband had numerous bites-afraid there might have been bedbugs on his twin bed. Disappointed in general.
all was good
Location to Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush underground was good. Breakfast was included which was unexpected. Eggs made to requirements.
Initially requested an early check and was told 12pm would be possible. On arrival a young lady told us 12.30pm which was also fine. Upon returning at 1pm we were greeted by an extremely rude man who refused us check-in as well as access to our bags which were stored in reception. He then proceeded to slam the door in our face and told us to return at 2pm. Thankfully when we returned at 2pm it was to another person at reception who was much more helpful.
fresh breakfast. staff very helpful.
outside traffic noise even with the window closed. No lift.
Breakfast was good although not enough space as very busy. Room was small but ok for the money. Shower good.
Bed was not comfortable and the lamp did not work.
Location is ok, not far from Shepherd's Bush metro station, rooms are small but clean
noisy, closed windows are like they are open. You can hear everything from the street.
Great location, clean rooms. Great value for London.
Breakfast very basic.
Location was OK - 10 min walking distance to the underground Supermarket and restaurants nearby
We stayed in the last floor. Horrible noise in the room - almost as the windows were always wide open. Mattresses were terrible, sheets were to small for the bed size. Bathroom with cleaned face but some points filled with rust. In the morning, every day we had lack of water during the shower. Breakfeast was very poor, no juice or Yogurt were in the freezer. Only toast with eggs. No bacon, ham or similar. Only served until 9 am... We still found receipts and papers on the room from the previous customer. Wi-fi signal very weak in the room - only in public areas. No elevator, so be ready to climb the narrow stairs. The room is totally different from the photos.
Breakfast was good; the shower worked well.
Bathroom was a little small and I would think that larger individuals would not be able to use the toilet as the sink is in your lap! We mistakenly booked the family room - there were two singles and a double bed but no wardrobe so a challenge.
bathroom to small shower racks rusty. bathroom door did not shut
Room 5 had a squeaky bed, every time I moved the smallest amount it would wake me. Appart from that I loved the room and hotel the bed was comfortable. Just the noise from it woke me a few times.
Proximity to Hammersmith Apollo
Bed was a bit saggy
The location was excellent and the room was comfortable enough and (mostly) clean.
Staff weren't around. When we checked in we had to wait for a staff member to arrive and when I left there was absolutely no one around. The carpet in my room was a bit dirty.
Comfortable room clean and good staff
Location Staff Breakfast
Good location, light and airy breakfast room, efficient staff.
Bathroom was a bit small, but nicely decorated
It was a clean room and bathroom, clean towels every day. The single room is supersmall but still comfy. Great location, 8 minutes walk to Central line.
room was clean kettle and fridge was an extra bonus hotel was very quiet which was nice, although the traffic can be noisy but its on a main road cheap hotel for london so would recommend and close to the Apollo great breakfast and the two young girls cooking the eggs and toast were working their socks off .. well done girls
sharing the breakfast table with other people because there was no room for us Main Staff didn't even look up from their mobile phone when i spoke to them Staff generally unfriendly and unwelcoming except the female staff at breakfast
We only stayed one night, but lovely room, very clean, good location, and good value for money.
Handy for concert venue, plenty of facilities in local area. Ok if you just want to get your head down and nothing else.
Very basic, room very small.
No lift. Put in attic room at first could not connect to wife. Rooms and Bathrooms were small. Fridge did not work. 2nd room was better but windows opened out onto smoking area outside. Limited seating for breakfast.
