Too much noise from busy street

Great hotel was meant to be staying at the royal London but we stayed at the golden strand (sister hotels) staff were lovely! Room was nice. We could come and go when we wanted! Brilliant location 5 mins from shepherd's bush empire which is where we went. Would definitely come and stay again

Not much choice at breakfast.

Booked a double room and then got there to be told my room had gone to someone else so I had to have a single room. As there was 2 of us that was ridiculous. I got offered an 18pound discount which was not adequate. I had just returned from volunteering in Fiji and I'd been travelling for 36 hours.

The breakfast was fine. We were served by a lady and she was very kind. We liked the eggs and style of it.

Several months ago we booked a room with double bed but unfortuantely inside the room there were two single beds. The heating in room was not working. Hopefully, the staff gave us a temprprary heating and we used it but I took a long time to heat the room.

Electric doors. Comfy bed. Hot shower. Basic and usual for london prices at this end of scale.

No receptionist in early hours despite claims of 24hour manned desk. I had a room in basement with a door that went to an outside area although im sure it was secure I still felt a little apprehensive.

I went to attend a course and to see friends

no elevatores the sink in our room was full of water all the time. fixed after 2 days.

A window in my room opened in the middle of the night and it was impossible to get it to stay closed. Sleeping was impossible and it was too late to do anything. One entire morning the heating system and hot water did not work. It was impossible to take shower. Refurbishment works took place during the stay causing major disruption and noise. Furniture, beds, electical appliances, ect are in very poor conditions. The whole establishment is falling apart. This is not a hotel to sell!!! I should get reimbursed.

stayed here before-will deffinately come back

The location was excellent, 10 mins walk to the underground stations (Goldhawk Road and Shepherd's Bush). Easy to get to from the airport via the Picadilly Line to Hammersmith (15mins walk). Only a few tube stops to the city centre and many buses from Shepherd's Bush station.

It got a little stuffy at night due to the radiator, but other than that the stay was great. Just open a window or 2.

Rooms were nice and clean and staff were friendly.

Paid for a continental breakfast, when we arrived at breakfast the only option was scrambled egg on toast

we did not get warned that water was not going to working, also plug sockets was broken in our room and the bed had hair on it which did not belong to us so was not clean at all

I just slept one night, its was very fistful and the room was clean and tidy. I enjoy it.

hotel royal is located at zone 2 but reasonable distance form town. the staffs are nice with reasonable price. The service is perfect and with high standard.

the location is not at heart of London, as a result, it is not too good for customers with big luggage.

24hour reception is very convinient for late night flights) and gents were kind enough to storage my luggage till mid-day for free) Room was big enough and all technics worked fine, including well-controllable heater and fan)))

Stained carpet and really really stinky smell in the room. Very steep stairs - it may be a real problem for thoose who travel with huge heavy bags(. Breakfast is poor: fried or scrambled eggs, toasts with jam, yogurt, tea, cofe and milk. Reasonable for 1-2 night sleepovers)

I didn't have any complaints

Staff were friendly and helpful and although the room was small it was perfect for one person for 2 nights. A fridge and tv were great.
