Bathroom door was freshly painted, we had stains on shirt because nobody warned us + room smelled paint, despite we opened all windows. In the morning I was in the shower hair soaped and NO water out of the shower, cold or warm, it took 10 min. For some drips to show up. Noisy road, lots of ambulances, police sirens, day and night. Lots of confusion between the hotel, guesthouse with the same name plus we had a group of Spanish students that gathered in the room next to ours.
Polite and helpful 24/7 staff. Clean, little but comfortable room, even less but useable bathroom.
Too little place for the WC.
The royal guest house 2 does what it says on the tin. Value for money, clean, friendly staff on check in. Good location for shepherds bush and hammersmith gig venues which was our reason for going. Didn't have breakfast so no comment. Would definitely stay again.
Bathroom a little on the small side, but that can be said of alot of places in London.
The room was spotless, staff were great. Only a short walk from the Apollo and will use it for other venues in London in future.
The location and staff very helpful .
The breakfast was fine. And plenty was offered to you. The only downside was no sauasages or bacon offer.
The beds were very comfortable and the room had all the basics for a cheap overnight stay. The Royal Guest House was well located for the Apollo as well as for a range of places to eat, and the staff were friendly and helpful when seeking directions
The room was a little on the small side for the one double and two single beds that were in it. The bathroom was also very small and using the toilet was not the most comfortable experience for my 6'3 husband.
Location and price
I was charged twice the same night but got my money back
A clean room.
Room is to small. No wifi signal in my room. Noise hall and bad door. Broken window
We liked the huge breakfast, the staff kindness, the cleanliness, a useful fridge into the room, the good position of the hotel in Hammersmith: next to the tube station (ten minutes' walk or two minutes by bus) and not so far from the centre of London.
Maybe the room and the bathroom were small (but it's rather usual in London's Hotels); consequently there was a really little closet and one bedside table: this is the reason why we could unpack only half of our bags. However the little room wasn't a great problem for us.
the room was cleaned every day and we got milk, tea, coffee, fresh towels and soap each day.
The wi-fi was verry poor after 9 pm. The breakfast started late during the weekend (8:30). At that time I was leaving the hotel.
Breakfast staff very nice and friendly
Wifi was not working most of the time as per the tv signal
Ok location. Breakfast basic but welcome, kitchen staff lovely. Manager we met on day 3&4 very nice and chatty.
First bedroom (72) was in the attic, damp wallpaper peeling off walls and a strange sewer smell - not good. Told the staff the next day and were moved with no hassle. Much smaller room but cleaner. No lift as far as I could tell so a struggle with big suit cases! Noisy road, so not able to open window.
location was really good, everything was close except that noise from the city
- Great location - Room was tidy, cosy, and clean - Overall a good experience!
- Breakfast was poorly organised; only a few options to choose from. Coffee machine broke and nobody came to repair it.
Did not get the room we booked!
Have stayed in places that have been alot more expensive but nowhere near as good ,highly recommend and hope to stay again
Room without steps!
Steps,over 60 steps every time.Respect the age,I am over 65!!!
My wife left £60 in cash in the room by mistake. The money was found and returned to us. What more can you say ?
Iv been and stayed in some B&B's in my time and for money wise they were not exactly cohabitable so when a friend found this hotel on the Internet we booked it due to location and price....was not expecting to turn up to the hiltons in our eyes! Don't get me wrong, there was a few little snags but loved it and price was very reasonable especially for London. Would deffenetly book again.
Price & cleanliness
Too warm, WiFi didn't reach top floor
Good location, everything satisfactory, would definately stay again, breakfast good
