Central location Friendly staff
Soundproofing!!!!!! Stayed for one night but unable to sleep due to guests in neighbouring room. Kept awake by drunk dysfunctional couple shouting and crying all night. Reported problem to night staff but the disturbance continued the whole night. In future I'll spend a bit more and be prepared to travel further in an attempt to avoid the chav element.
No duvet (even when requested) dated decor
Staff were not very helpful. We asked for milk at 11pm for a tea, met with attitude. In the morning we were denied breakfast as we arrived at 10.01. Told the kitchen was closed. I only wanted an egg... Spoken to like we were children. My wife and I are 37. Being told by staff ' Rules are rules' hardly very accommodating.
Staff were so-so in providing service. Decor is tired. Kitchen staff disorganised.
Very easy to find, close to the train station.
Poor wifi, broken shower, some very snobbish and unhelpful staff, tiny room, very cold, awful view.
Slightly dated - some furnishing and decoration was shabby. Did not like having to pay over £8 for parking
Comfy bed Breakfast Free dvd hire
The entire Staff were professional and friendly, they were welcoming and informative and I include waiting and and bar staff who had a good knowledge of the Menu and Wines to suit. Standard and presentation of food was good as was choice of Wines and Spirits. Room was spotless and comfortable and check out painless. We stayed at the Hotel for their New Years Eve Gala Dinner and cannot fault this Hotel for its value for money; without appearing to skimp on all the little extras, we are considering going back for next years New Years Eve. We only live 8 miles outside of the City Centre so Bath itself is not the reason for return, we have stayed in several Hotels within Bath; for New Years Eve, and so far the Royal has been the best.
located beside railway, very convenient for shops, very friendly, helpful staff.
We arrived on a very cold day, but the room was lovely and warm just what we needed
My wife doesn't like egg but wasn't offered anything else tomato wasn't cooked or cold lovely to have tea leaves though car parking was a bit difficult and expensive though
Fairly good location. Comfortable hotel. Friendly staff.
Didn't think worth £120 per night. Had burger in bar in the evening and eggs benedict for breakfast, did think either were particularly good. Would try another hotel on my next visit to Bath.
Great location and comfy,warm room
Opposite Railway Station, Seconds from Shopping Centre. Great Service from Restaurant, with a good menu.
Run out of beer.
Very happy with the hotel location, very central and walking distance to town and other attractions! (A little noisy on weekends due to location but not the hotels fault) Very helpful and friendly staff, going out of their way to help! Breakfast was very nice and a good choice of foods! Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice!
While booking the hotel it mentioned there was limited parking at the hotel but it didn't tell you that you had to pay for the parking if you got it! Bit naughty!
Very helpful staff Excellent full English breakfast
Lack of easy parking
Bar food excellent
Hotel was too hot
Location, friendly staff, cleanliness, substantial breakfast
Bedroom was a bit too warm
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked many questions about the area, and always had comprehensive information on all subjects. Our food, both breakfasts and dinners, were excellent. We tried many things from the menus', but will have to return for more choices
Can't think of anything!
The staff were friendly. Little extras such as water, good range of teas, fresh coffee, good biscuits and chocolate in the room. DVD player and a choice to borrow. Very convenient for the station.
The single room was dated and very small. No black out curtains.
Comfortable rooms with extras like chocolates biscuits and water very nice touch.
Friendly helpful staff. Great choice at breakfast. Just opposite the station and easy access to town centre.
Patchy wifi (but not the end of the world). Bed a bit small. Breakfast service slow but worth waiting for freshly cooked food.
Double room was comfortable and clean. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Room overlooked station so Saturday night there was a lot of outside noise to contend with.
Very comfortable hotel, helpful staff and excellent breakfast.
Parking would be advantageous.
