Very happy with the hotel location, very central and walking distance to town and other attractions! (A little noisy on weekends due to location but not the hotels fault) Very helpful and friendly staff, going out of their way to help! Breakfast was very nice and a good choice of foods! Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice!
While booking the hotel it mentioned there was limited parking at the hotel but it didn't tell you that you had to pay for the parking if you got it! Bit naughty!
Very helpful staff Excellent full English breakfast
Lack of easy parking
Bar food excellent
Hotel was too hot
Location, friendly staff, cleanliness, substantial breakfast
Bedroom was a bit too warm
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked many questions about the area, and always had comprehensive information on all subjects. Our food, both breakfasts and dinners, were excellent. We tried many things from the menus', but will have to return for more choices
Can't think of anything!
The staff were friendly. Little extras such as water, good range of teas, fresh coffee, good biscuits and chocolate in the room. DVD player and a choice to borrow. Very convenient for the station.
The single room was dated and very small. No black out curtains.
Comfortable rooms with extras like chocolates biscuits and water very nice touch.
Friendly helpful staff. Great choice at breakfast. Just opposite the station and easy access to town centre.
Patchy wifi (but not the end of the world). Bed a bit small. Breakfast service slow but worth waiting for freshly cooked food.
Double room was comfortable and clean. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Room overlooked station so Saturday night there was a lot of outside noise to contend with.
Very comfortable hotel, helpful staff and excellent breakfast.
Parking would be advantageous.
A good , very well located hotel with excellent, friendly staff and a very comfortable room. Good food and service.
The lounge was fine but not comfortable enough to linger in for an evening
Liked the location and friendliness of the staff
The hotel is datex and is desperately in need of refurbishment. The decor is dull and tired looking.
Staff in general were very friendly and helpful, restaurant staff excellent
rooms were not booked for our party, there was no reason given.we suspect they had a better offer.we were shipped to another hotel not of our choice and noone seemed to care. we originally tried to book this hotel ourselves which was a toal waste of time.we have been to this hotel for the last four years with no problem,so it may seem there is a bigger problem with this hotel.
Very nice staff. Good (If somewhat noisy) location.
The bed had scratchy blankets,we were amazed that there were no duvets, although some were eventually found for us after we asked. The bathroom floor was very grubby. Cobwebs in the bedroom, lots of dust on curtains. The hotel generally looked a bit tired and in need of an update.
good food and comfortablr room
only one bed side table and no bath
I had to pay the full price of room because my wife was ill, unfortunately notification to late, i also paid for breakfast we did not have.
Great location. Very friendly helpful staff. Good, cheap bar food. Good bathroom. Very good choice for breakfast and the food was excellent.
Hotel was too hot. Room was a little dated (but there were decorators around while we were there so they may be decorating the rooms).
you can walk to all the Bath "sites" and the bedroom was warm and comfy whilst a biting wind accompanied our sightseeing walk.
staff were a bit stressed and surly as there was nowhere to park and only one public NCP was suggested....it was already full at 11 am. Suggest they make the parking problem clear on their website and have maps for oneway system.
Enjoyed the 2 nights same as i did last year. will go back again
We travelled by train and so the location across the road from the station was excellent. The hotel is also very central for accessing all sights and of course the Christmas Market.
The initial welcome by the manager was anything but welcoming, and the same gentleman was generally officious in all his dealings with us.
Unfortunately we couldn't get a table in the restaurant due to it being fully booked, but that was all.
The staff were very friendly - the hotel was in a great location - we were lucky to reserve a parking space - close to the Christmas market and shops. Have booked again for next year!
Location was perfect. Beds were extremely comfortable. Room had character - it was at front of hotel but heard little noise from street or station.
