The staff were lovely and the restaurant and the food was very good. Location for centre of Bath fantastic! The room could have been cleaner, generally a bit old fashioned. The station is opposite and the taxis and the pedestrian crossing were noisy |

Excellent breakfast, with good choice options including Eggs Benedict / Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Informal bar does good food, at a reasonable rate, good, quick service.Single room was very small, but good hot showers, quiet, and comfy bed. Excellent location opposite the station. Considering the average b abd b prices in Bath (I stay there a lot) this is an excellent option. No, a good, comfortable stay. |

Location, Staff were very pleasant, Restaurant very good, We booked a room with a four poster bed, not very comfortable, would suggest it is urgent need of a new mattress,as we both finished up in the middle, mor tea and coffee required in room, 2 tea bags not enough.Handle required in bathroom for elderly people to grab when taking a shower, instead they hold onto the glass shower door, not safe. |

Relaxing and comfortable time. Very good service from the staff. Not really. They have a major building development opposite and the area is a bit ragged at the edges. Once the development is done they'll be opposite a major shopping facility. |

The hotel is convenient for walking around city, attending the Royal Theatre, and taking trains in and out of Bath station. I booked the same room for a night two weeks later, and they charged me £5 more than before. |

Very good room, al;though quite small. However it was a single room so this is to be expected. Excellent breakfast with good choices. |

The location and the breakfast. When we got there they did not have a room for two adults and two children as asked in the reservation request. Their answer was they didn't read my information properly. The solution to the mistake was to make us book two rooms instead of one and charge us more. The windows would not close, the toilet would not flush well and the room had xmas paper balled in a corner from week before. |

Good value for money, the bar and food prices were reasonable. Lots of selection for breakfast. Parking was a major problem. The hotel suggested the car park across the road at the station, we got in (just)but, it was £7.00 a day! |

Staff were really efficient without being over the top. Good service in the restaurant and a really low-key relaxing atmosphere. The hotel was comfortable and we had a lovely time; great location too. |

Restaurant was wonderful and the food was very very good. as was the service in the restaurant. Reception staff very helpfull. As we were having a celebration and needed something brought to our table in the restaurant, the duty manager helped to make the occasion a success. One small point, somewhere in the bathroom to lay more than one toilet bag and more than one hook for hanging clothes on would be better. |

staff very polite and helpful. room very small, poorly decorated and extremely hot, uncomfortable and claustraphobic. Homeless shelter 100yds outside very disconcerting especially walking past large groups of homeless people at night. Breakfast poor, and developed a stomach upset after evening meal and left in early hours of morning. |

Close to railway station, nice staff, good food, but listed building and therefore planners had blocked improvements, quite Victorian in decor. Too hot, not the best room in the world |

Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. The single room was small but good value for money and had all facilities. All hotel clean and functional base, good for for exploring central Bath. Great location right opposite railway station and on all bus routes, five mins from Roman Baths/Themae Spa, and also next to stop for great city sightseeing bus tour. Would stay here again. Breakfast tables never complete - each had something missing so people had to keep swapping but not really a problem. Decor in rooms and toilets very very dated but bar and lounge etc modern and nice. |
