Everything was of a very good standard. Unlike a lot of hotels, there were no problems with either the on-suite shower or the television in the room. In my experience this is rare and the temperature of the room was not stifling and was just right for sleeping in: this is rare also. Great! I enjoyed my stay. |

The Royal Hotel was well situated for visiting the Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, Royal Crescent, the Circus and the town centre shops. There was a good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel would benefit from upgrading of decoration in public areas. The room and bathroom were disappointing for the price. |

The hotel is just across the station. It's located in the most convenient place for travellers dragging heavy suitcaces. And it has a nice restautrant. I really enjoyed a delicious grill plate there. My single room was spacious. The tea tray in the room was covered a little dust. |

The hotel is in an excellent location – just steps away from the train station and bus station. My room and bathroom were both of good size and very clean. The room was nicely decorated with two small chandeliers. There is an internet cafe right across the street, and a grocery store within walking distance. The breakfast was very good and always well stocked. They served great coffee too! This is a very attractive and comfortable hotel. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Bath. |

The hotel is superbly located both near the centre of Bath but also near to the train station. Staff are helpful and polite, and the food was excellent. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable. |

We found the hotel the ideal place to stay in Bath as it is close to the centre and the train station. The room was comfortable (but a bit hot), the breakfast lovely and the bar relaxing. Bedroom very warm |

Close proximity to Station and All Tourist Areas. The staff were very friendly, polite, and informative. The food was of a high standard, well presented and portions were more than adequate. We were in room 106, and found the ventilation fans on the roof outside the window were noisy. We would also recommend that towels are only changed if placed on floor, ours were changed when some had not been used. Green routine for laundry!! |

I was very happy with every aspect of the hotel during my stay. In particular, the restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated, and the menu was impressive and reasonably priced. My room, though small, was ideal for a solo traveller, with a surprisingly spacious bathroom. Finally, the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would not hesitate to come back. |

We thought the rooms were very nicely decorated, and the breakfast was very good, Overall a very nice hotel. The young receptionist on the desk, who had a very aggressive manner when we arrived to book in, I agree we were early arriving and did not expect our room to be ready, but she made it perfectly clear our room would not be ready until 2pm,the gentleman who was on the desk also was very obliging |

Really nice room, even though it was a small single. Nice shower, much appreciated as it was very hot weather then. That the hotel was very close to the town and railway was the reason it was chosen. The breakfast was very decent indeed! Definately coming back! Can't honestly think of anything negative! |

The staff were lovely and the restaurant and the food was very good. Location for centre of Bath fantastic! The room could have been cleaner, generally a bit old fashioned. The station is opposite and the taxis and the pedestrian crossing were noisy |

Excellent breakfast, with good choice options including Eggs Benedict / Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Informal bar does good food, at a reasonable rate, good, quick service.Single room was very small, but good hot showers, quiet, and comfy bed. Excellent location opposite the station. Considering the average b abd b prices in Bath (I stay there a lot) this is an excellent option. No, a good, comfortable stay. |

Location, Staff were very pleasant, Restaurant very good, We booked a room with a four poster bed, not very comfortable, would suggest it is urgent need of a new mattress,as we both finished up in the middle, mor tea and coffee required in room, 2 tea bags not enough.Handle required in bathroom for elderly people to grab when taking a shower, instead they hold onto the glass shower door, not safe. |

Relaxing and comfortable time. Very good service from the staff. Not really. They have a major building development opposite and the area is a bit ragged at the edges. Once the development is done they'll be opposite a major shopping facility. |

The hotel is convenient for walking around city, attending the Royal Theatre, and taking trains in and out of Bath station. I booked the same room for a night two weeks later, and they charged me £5 more than before. |
