Probably because it's an old building, so the toilet in my room doesn't flush properly.
The hotel is just across the Bath Spa train station. Still it's not far from the downtown/ center area of Bath. By walking it takes 7 minutes to get to the Abbey, and from there you could easily navigate the beautiful little town.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. While I checked in, a beautiful lady greeted me with genuine smile. For a solo traveler that really makes you feel home. I soon asked her if there is any restaurant nearby that I could go and enjoy a simple meal. She quickly recommended me two Thai restaurants. I went one of them and the food is truly amazing.
I like my room. It is a single room, with a very beautiful bathroom, and it gets better-- it has a bathtub. When coming to a town called Bath, why not taking a bath? The wallpaper of my room is a bit tarnished, but I don't mind because it gives the room a comfy feeling. The breakfast the hotel provides is incredible. It is a nice experience, and I will not hesitate to choose it again.
