Great value for money, lovely room which was dog friendly as was the comfortable lounge where we enjoyed a drink before checking in. The menu was reasonable and quite varied staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good with table service for hot options. We got a great last minute deal and would stay again as there are many lovely walks nearby and the welcoming village atmosphere makes for a very pleasant short break.

The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient, whilst the room was clean, warm and comfortable. I did not have an opportunity to sample the dinner menu, but the breakfast was very good. I will look forward to staying here again and aim to have a wee break here later in the year. The only complaint that I had was that I was unable to get a Wi-Fi connection at all in my room during my stay.

Feels comfortable and you are made to feel really welcome. The room that I was last in was 32 and it was lovely..... Felt like home. I will be back. :0) The cold water tap was broken and hanging off and there is no curtains on the bathroom window...

Excellent value for money and rooms were refurbished to a good standard considering age of hotel. All in all a very good stay. Bar not manned all the time especially late at night for guests - if you wanted a drink you had to go to reception to get someone to come and serve you - not the best idea but appreciate our family were the only people in the bar.

Where do I start, there was nothing we liked we were there for 2 nights and had 3 different rooms 1st room freezing cold and could hear running water all the time 2nd room 2 single beds pushed together with about an inch height difference in middle of bed and 2 single quiltson it,light not working, wires showing at the fitment of the light, loose toilet seat,T.v not tuned in properly,3rd room we got told was an executve room lol all it was, it was bigger room with bigger bathroom still no double bed two singles put together at least it had double quilt.Food not great, had to look for bar staff all the time just to get a drink no wonder the bar was empty bad atmosphere in the place not clean due to lack of staff maybe . Still waiting for them to be in touch due to us not being happy and would not give us the head office contact details to complain will not be back and would not recomend.

Excellent location and staff could not be more helpful. Meals were excellent and value for money. Two single beds had been pushed together in our room and I had to chase staff to get a second cup, glass and remote control for the telly on arrival.

We stayed here with another couple, in 2 double rooms. Both rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with everything we needed, and even a kettle and some tea / coffee / shortbread. Staff were helpful, accomodating and professional, when our booking could not initially be found they were wonderful, and solved the problem without drama. I got an amazing price, best value of our trip! It is a drive into Stirling, perfect if you have a car. Would stay again for sure. Unfortunately this was the worst shower we experienced, a laughable lack of water pressure.

The staff are very friendly and for the price it is a good hotel to stay at. However, once the renovations are finished the price may increase. It was a good location for me because I was training at Stirling University and it was within walking distance. Bridge of Allan is a small town but has some interesting shops and all amenities including a launderette across the road and a Tesco Express. Unfortunately it was being renovated when I was there but the floor I stayed on had already been done so it was nice to stay in a more modern room than last year.
