The Royal Marine Hotel overlooks the mouth of the Brora River and offers calm, gracious surroundings, great food, recreational facilities, log fires and a Highland welcome. In addition to the health club, you can enjoy boats on Loch Brora, mountain bikes, and an adjacent 18-hole golf course. The golf course and beach are one minute away. The house was designed in 1913 by Sir Robert Lorimer and the original woodwork and antique furniture are still in place. Hotel Rooms: 21, Hotel Chain: Classic British Hotels.

The food is good although not cheap. Elegant public rooms, wood fire in the lobby. Comfortable rooms. Good sports and leisure facilities. The bathroom fittings could do with updating and maintaining. Although it offers a snooker table this and the equipment for it were poorly maintained.

Quiet and peasfull. Although we checked in a day early, we were still accomodated, the room was actually a suit,very nice. Housekeeping not up to the standard expected. Several items not replenished eg. Coffee, bath/shower gel. When asked items were supplied. Shoudn't have to ask in the first place.

Their assistance with my special gluten free diet. The log fires during a weekend of bad weather and the upgraded room with more space. Also because of a storm that affected our other plans for earlier that day, we had arrived earlier in the afternoon and were readily catered for.

Le charme et le luxe anglais à un prix abordable, avec un accueil excellent. Belle piscine intérieure, excellente table. Indéniablement le meilleur hôtel de notre séjour.

Qualité de la décoration, des meubles, 3 salons dont un histoire du parcours du golf de Brora, snooker; confort des chambres sauf une sans vue qui donnait sur le toit métallique de la piscine. Confort de la salle à manger...Trop peu de temps pour apprécier tout cela.
