The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious and a great base for seeing Edinburgh. Check in and check out was ok but a little roudy due to being in the backpackers hostel. The TV only had a limited number of channels - a decoder might have been a good idea. |

The apartment is very well decorated and cozy with large windows at the leaving room and also nice view of the street.Very well located, close to the Castle(5 min walking). The kitchen had all the stuff we needed and very modern. The kitchen were not cleaned from previous day.The coffe/tea and sugar saches were not also replaced. |

I loved the location of the apartments, it was so central to everything. The apartments were quite spacious also. The windows werent double glazed so it was quite cold. The cleaners were people staying at their sister property, a hostel. We couldnt get the TV working until the 2nd night. They had no facilities for early check in. |

Hotel staff are friendly. Location is very good, just minutes' walk to almost all the tourist spots in the city including shopping areas. Apartment is nice with all the facilities you need for a short stay. We really had a good time and nice experience with our stay in RMR. |

It was very convenient location The steps were very step and numerous which was a challenge with 2 young children. Staff assisted in carrying luggage upon arrival which was much appreciated and made this much less of an issue. |

walking distance of culture, good eateries, shopping public transport steep steps for access even though we were on first floor. No flexibility re check -in. Had to check in at backpackers - not what you would expect from a 4plus star rated accommodation |

The location was excellent and the apartment was well kitted out and comfortable. The shower plug was blocked and despite calling reception the problem was not rectified before our departure. |

The hotel was really unexpectedly amazing. I and my family were saying a sentence times over the times during our stay we are definitely coming back" Most of reviews were talking about the entrance of the hotel however I beleive it is not big a deal! |

very centrally located; breakfast deal with the Southern Cross Cafe was excellent value for money street (Royal Mile) was too noisy for a good night's sleep; internet access was unavailable throughout our stay and this was very inconvenient. |

The location is superb, right in the middle of most of Edinburgh's tourist attractions and only a short walk from the railway station. |

On arrival staff helped us with our luggage up all the stairs, free use of the health club facilities,, great location no taxi needed. very secure and felt safe- key code entry. Appartments were very spacious and great view. Staff were very friendly . we knew there would be stairs to our appartment, but they were very narrow and no full hand rail, not good after a night out. |

Great location, friendly staff. the room we were in was a bit smelly, we managed to work out that it was the couch, smelled of damp and there was only 1 other chair there, so we both squeezed on that. Surprised there was not a flat screen tv as it was a five star hotel. |

Convience to everything. The stairs but now that I have stayed there not sure if the apartments would facilitate a lift ? if so it would be a major plus. |

The open plan layout of sittin/kitchen and dining area was perfect and the decor was stylish and the location was excellent. The man at reception was very welcoming and personable. He carried bags up to the apartmnent and gave us the right balance of helpfulness in showing us the flat and telling us about the surrounding area. |

Very central to everything. The beds were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Ed. The entrace to the apartment, the dark narrow stairways and the reception area in a youth hostel were not what we have expected in a 5* hotel. |

Great apartment. Comfortable beds, nice furnishings and a nice kitchen. Great location. Very nice staff. The hotel sits right on the street so there was a lot of noise since the windows were old and didn't close very well. Need more room darkening shades in the front bedroom due to streetlights. |

We attended The Book Festival and other shows on during The Edinburgh Festival. Our appartment was changed with any prior notice. There was no cork screw to open our wine. The staff failed to replace coffee, tea and shortbread which we were told would happen. |

central location Grubby check in facilities - shared with hostel down the road. No radio or television in the bedroom. 92 narrow stone steps to room - first few steps off the street were soiled and smelly. Shower waste was blocked. Made shower almost unusable or else would overflow. Shame because otherwise design and decor of apartment were good. |
