Nice Welcome The Room was far too hot and being close to a main road was noisy with the windows open (with the windows close there was no noise - very good glazing?) |

Very convenient location. Helpful staff. Good room service. good breakfast service. Spacious room with good facilities. There is no lift as it is a listed building - ok for me this time but if I had a heavy suitcase it would have been difficult - - potential guests should be aware of this. |

It was near the train station, and also the place where we picked up our rental car--so schlepping luggage was no problem. |

Pleasant, amiable staff in a comfortable and thoughtfully prepared stay, for sight seers visiting Oxford and near by Blenheim Palace. An interesting historical town full of beauty and excitement. Having to exit the hotel to reach breakfast room , OK on our visit as it wasn''t raining. No omelettes for breakfast although one could order fried, poached or scrambled? |

proximity to the city. My wife had a very bad fall while accessing the bathroom during the night. She did not expect, on opening the bachroom door to meet a high step, tripped and fell forward. There was no first aid available, in the sense of disinfectant or bandages. She was offered a cotton pad but no means of attaching it to the wound. |

Service was excellent. Very friendly and ever so helpful staff at the reception. We were in this hotel which was in the city center for 16 days in the summer and enjoyed every moment. The breakfast served at the COCO'S restaurant to start the day was splendid.Bed-room and washroom were extremely clean. The room was so well equipped with tea/ coffee, hot chocolate bowl of fruits, biscuts and chocolates ,makes this hotel as good as any five star. I certainly would stay at Royal Oxford again and again. |

The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean. Good location for visiting Oxford. You have to go outside and around the front of the hotel to get to the restaurant for breakfast, in winter it wouldn't be very pleasant. The breakfast menu is good but the breakfast was cooked poorly. The toast was like stale bread and the fried eggs and bacon were overcooked! |

The hotel was quiet, in some hotels you can hear banging doors and other guests walking around but it was very quiet, the bathroom was a lot larger than in other hotels we've stayed in, the room was also very clean and the staff were helpful. The City is within walking distance so it's in a good location. The noise from the people leaving the clubs near to the hotel in the early hours of the morning woke us up, if you book a room make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel, our room was too close to the main road. |

The hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, the bedding was of a high quality with chocolates on the pillows and a well stocked fruit basket as a complementary service. |
