Great Gym/pool/sauna. Nice rooms with good bathroom fixtures and new tv. Very decent price for centre of Newcastle. Reception and restaurant area very run down. However, it's better to have nice rooms and a rundown reception than the other way around. |

What I didn't like was that when I turned up it was brought to my attention that the mains water supply had been turned off for essential maintenance. There was no mention of this when I booked. This really was a inconvenience because I had intended to take a shower immediately after arriving before going to my business meeting in Newcastle. I understand that essential maintenance is essential but it would have been nice to let me know before I turned up so I could either make alternative arrangements or had another shower before I got on the train to newcastle. |

The superior double room was very comfortable, functional and just what we needed on this city break. A man hole cover or similar just outside the room in one of the driveways that rattled every time a vehicle went over it. Looks like your property, could be fixed. |

the room were very nicly decorrated and modern .Reseption staff very nice and helpful too The entrance Hall and the hall ways are in desperate need of total refurbishmnet and the Breakfast was expensive - for the terrible service we receive, if you pay £8 you expect at two mintiues past ten, that they should not switch the light off in the buffet section!!! and no coffee or tea refill at10am when you came down at 9.40am!! |

Staff at Reception were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, room was very comfortable I think breakfast could be handled more efficiently - if you have a keycard, that should be shown and staff would then know that breakfast will be paid for on departure. Choosing which b/fast should be done at the table not at the entrance to the restaurant |

Clean, comfortable, quiet, lovely bathroom, well-situated for access to places I needed to visit in city centre. Ordered breakfast in my room; all fine except the only conserve supplied was strawberry jam - would have preferred a choice, ideally to include marmalade. |

It was very central to the city - easy walking distance from shops, bars and restuarants. The room and bathroom was quite cold and the radiators took a while to heat up. Specificaly in the shower as it only had a glass screen so it was very cold! |

It was very convenient for the Radio Metro Arena, which is why we booked in the first place. Also if you are travelling by train to Newcastle it is just 2 minutes walk from the station. We found the room was a bit stuffy even with the window open. |
