Rien à redire sur l'hôtel ; simplement il serait souhaitable que cet hôtel et les autres dans le même cas offrent des tarifs b & b!!! |

Hotel très bien centré proche de toutes les commodités - grande chambre au goût du jour et salle de bain agréable - parking gratuit à disposition L'hôtel se trouve dans une zone extrêment bruyante. D'un côté la gare et de l'autre coté une rue principale très bruyante (voitures, passants, bars à proximité). Il n'y a pas de climatisation et les fenêtres ne sont pas insonorisées. Il faut laisser les fenêtres ouvertes si l'on veut avoir un peu d'air. Trop chaud. Nous avons dans l'ensemble mal dormi. |

Le look rétro et le confort grand siècle de l'hotel so british! Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre malgré les fenêtres ouvertes toute la nuit. Nous n'avons pas très bien dormi du fait de cette chaleur... |

Lovely old victorian hotel adjoining central station, ideally placed to walk / metro into town & beyond & for buses to quayside. Excellent value, very clean & comfortable, complimentary water, juice & chocolate in room fridge a nice touch. Newcastle is a fabulous city & you won't go wrong with this hotel as your base - recommended!! |

I was not happy with service of the evening meal I booked from reception ? There were no condiments served with the meal and none in the room ? there was no milk with the tea I ordered ? I used one of three breakfast sachets provided ? I ordered scrambled egg on toast and was told the toast had to made by my self !!! I am disabled and found it difficult to manage ? I ordered tea with breakfast I am still awaiting for the Tea to be served ...... See above comments ? |

The beds were clean and comfortable and we were able to use the swimming pool when we wished. The staff were helpful. We had a front room which was very noisy during the night from revellers at the night club across the road. One of the double glazing windows was missing which meant that even more noise came in from outside. |

The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was very comfy and the service was excellent. Our room was seperated into two rooms, so we couln't watch tv from our bed. |

location room was really small and hot - we booked this as it was on offer and it was a fair deal. I would recomend - but with reservations location was central and for a short time that was good enough - but would not have wanted to be in that room longer bed was sml room was tiny |

All staff were very friendly The room was disappointing. The double glazing was not in place which meant train announcements could clearly be heard early morning and late at night. The bathroom was cold, and again the double glazing was not installed. No shaving point in the bathroom. |

It was completley unfussy. I was left alone having been given all the information I needed. The room was cunningly fitted under the eaves of the roof giving it character and had been reasonably well fitted out. Lack of breakfast. For the money charged I do not think it would have been too much to get a breakfast in with the price. Overall the cost, although in line with other hotels in the area, was not justified. |

Excellent location. Our room very spacious and recently refurbished. Better value than other hotels we have used in the city. Several steps up to front entrance difficult for my elderly mother. I had requested a room with disabled facilities if possible but we were given a room with a very long walk along several corridors and up and down many stairs. However when I complained the staff were extremely helpful and moved us to a much more convenient room - with great views across the city. |

Newly refurbished room. The free contents of the fridge - a chocolate bar, orange juice and water. The fact that they were redecorating. It is a lovely old building, a pity it has not been kept in good order in the past. Great location for city centre, the Quay, national rail services and Metro. The reception staff could have been more attentive, especially when I checked out - like looking up and saying "thank you" when I dropped off the room key and guest questionnaire! |
