the bed was very comfy
the room was very warm and the sink was cracked in the bathroom
Lovely Hotel, great location. Free Parking and very good value for money as hotel was like a 4star
Air Con wasn't working so hotel room was really hot even when fans were provided. The Shower wasn't very powerful and the temperature of shower didn't increase much.
Heat in the hotel, so bad that there was no air-con which effected my sleep. No lift so had to carry heavy bags up two flights of stairs. Shower pressure was poor. Very small double room.
It was our wedding anniversary. The staff were just lovely! Our room was upgraded to an Executive Suite and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine! Amazing stay! Thanks Stuart Hotel, we'll definitely be back :-)
location & parking facilities
Good parking Good breakfast
Noisy air conditioning (or suchlike) outside the room. Not enough to complain about though!
The room was clean , and staff were very friendly, was a good location for me. The bar and restaurant very clean and modern
Got given a check in time of 2pm we arrived at 2.30pm and room wasn't ready,
It was close to the town centre
the room wasn't clean and it was very hot but we couldn't open the windows because it was too noisy with traffic.
Staff saw I was walking with crutches and gave me a ground floor room. I was also early for check in and because my room was ready they let me check in early.
Air conditioner rather noisy.
close to Derby's shopping centre.
Staff very pleasant very clean location ideal for the centre and railway station Good value for money
room too hot, did have air conditioning but very noisy to put on,especially at night
Staff helpfulness. Room comfort and facilities
Ethernet connection didn't work and the wifi was slow
Location was about all to say for it
Impossibly small room for two people and no sympathy from the staff. You could only walk sideways at the side of the bed it was so small. The bathroom was equally as bad and the shower cubicle a triangle fitted in the corner. If you dropped the soap you had to open the door to be able to pick it up. Unfortunately we had to stay two nights. Never again.
Great hotel for the price. Good location. Free parking
The room was very warm
Very hot in room and corridors
Arrived on Friday given room 337 the room was very small horrible and stuffy so next day changed to room 308 that was better for fresh air but the toilet sink and radiator made using the toilet not brilliant
The staff especially .... The room was great and breakfast was good .... Enjoyed our one night stay. Excellent value for money !!
Menu Selection & service
Reception needs 2 people on @busy times

Sat Nav the address and it takes you miles out of the way. Put in POSTCODE and it takes you to the door
Staff seemed very unorganised and stressed out. On the night we arived, the person that greeted us, actually seemed quite anoyed with us beeing there. Next day and wilst checking out, again everyone seemed very stressed out and unorganised. Quite unprofetional,as they were complaining about each other and so on. The rooms were small, but comfortable enough, except for the fact that there was a generator outside our window which was very loud, would switch off very late at night and start early in the morning,it was very warm in the room so had to keep windows open.
We arrived with two young children. This was stated on the booking. Room was not made up to accommodate us, temperature of room was too hot and air con unit was broken. We were given a fan but was too loud to sleep with. Children were too hot and moved to double bed, leaving me to move to sofa bed, which was so uncomfortable and I had no sleep. Also, as detailed the room was booked with comment of young children under 3 staying. A large window was left open andy youngest ran straight for it. If I did not see he could have falle. Out. Location is great
We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and were totally satisfied with everything. This time the hotel seemed quite shabby, it urgently needs renovation. Though the business calls to stay in Derby from time to time, will not choose this hotel any more if the renovation is not done.
Restraunt staff were very pleasant and breakfast was fine. The location is fine and easy enough to get to by car. Not much other than that to like I'm afraid.
Whilst not the worst hotel we have stayed in, it was far from a four star. More like a glorified two star. Tatty and needs refurb. Creepy crawlies in the bathroom, single beds put together as doubles, broken sofabed, moody reception, drama in the hallway with other residents. Parking not great and no assistance or trolley to bring your luggage into the hotel. Was glad to leave when we did. Would certainly not recommend if the above are important to you and your family.
None and regretted
Food and service. So many things was not even basic
It was close to centre very clean
The shower was not powerful enough the wfi was to slow
