location, friendly staff, if you needed something you only had to ask! late check out!
Fluffy towels, free parking
Sofa bed wasn't very comfortable in family room.
The location. Free car park
The restaurant food. The wait at reception, to find out they didn't know anything about our reservation. Restaurant had sold out of two of the deserts on the menu First rooms extractor fan wasn't working, had to move to another room to find out this fan didn't work either.
Location is very convenient for Derby, comfortable room with everything you could require
The bathroom sealant was a little mouldy and the water was cold
Friendly staff. Room was spacious and airy.Walking distance to city centre. Ample parking
Poor signage making it difficult to locate. Two water buckets were left in the hallway outside our door for the duration of our stay.
The staff were friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Tea & coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.
Room situated parallel with main road. Mould around bath. Mouldy and broken shower head. Loose legs on bed. Broken sink. Stained pillow case. Dirty walls. Noisy banging doors. Toilet seat only attached by one fixing point. Noise pollution from other rooms. Other guests who shouted up and down the corridors all night.
Dirty glass in bathroom
buckets out side the room a leak accured, room out dated, curtains very dirty and old, hairs in bath room, and we both iched when we got into the bed, staff didnt care at all when we aired our veiws, just sai referb is happening soon, first time in a best western never again.
Not enough food at breakfast ? Kept running out ! Had to keep ringing for room service ! Never got it ! & one female member of reception staff was rude !
The hotel interior was at a good standard Room was spacious Comfortable bed
at diner waited 15 minutes for the water and wine. Soup was cold (but lovely- shame it was microwaved ) Asked for a wakeup call and didn't get one (lucky i set my phone alarm as well) Asked for a Vat receipt in the evening for the next morning, but had to wait another 10min the next day for it... This hotel needs a good manager...
Easy to find, staff ordered taxi, and waited outside with us until it arrived, good location.
Shower was awful, no power to it at 7am shower was luke warm, by the time my b/f had a shower at 11am was stone cold, he decided on a cold strip wash instead. Because we booked via Late Bookings it did take approx 15/20mins to actual check in.
The hotel was very clean and close to all the nightlife etc (around £3.00 in a taxi or 5 mins walk). Had free parking and the staff were friendly. The bar area was noce
the cooked breakfast was overpriced and very greasy, saying that the choice of continental was supurb (again overpriced). I paid for a superior double. There were no bathrobes and I had to ask twice for a hair dryer, and the room was very small but nethertheless comfortable hence the reason I decided not to complain. Overall, a good stay and would stay again, but refrain from staying in a superior as there is no difference.
5 min walk to town for shopping ideal for the wife. Great food and very pleasant staff, very helpful indeed.
The room was very dirty, not been cleaned properly for ages by the look of things. Shame to let down what we think is a very good hotel.
There was no wiFi to use in the rooms. And as a single traveller I found that very frustrating as I had work to do.
Breakfast, was the worst I've ever experienced in a hotel and at £8.50 each it was a rip off!
Excellent location for shopping and bars
The endless corridors tricky to negotiate after a few cocktails
The comfort of the beds. friendliness of staff.
Bar limited stock carried, closure of bar at 23:00, pitiful stock held for room service i.e. no lemonade, pepsi or soft drinks, corked wine offered. Room service poor selection of foods available after 22:00. Breakfast was a disaster both days of stay, chef sick 1st resulting in an one half hour wait for food(although food was given without charge a 4* hotel should have more than one chef!), raw food served the 2nd and then wrong replacement breakfast brought out. Bathroom, tiny bath, leaking shower hose and cramped toilet area (room 241) Room 202, sofa bed I wouldn't have for a dog to sleep on but my step son had no choice and would have expected a piece of furniture of this standard in a 2*.
Location of the hotel-neat the train station. They have tea and coffee to make to yourself, in the room.
They don 't really have wifi, just at the reception area and the bar. This means you have to get out of the room in case you need internet connection. The rooms are really small. The matrice of the bed was really uncomfortable, and the entire hotel is build that you can actually hear each step, door closing, tv-next door, and you can't really sleep.
Reception and bar staff were pleasant.
We arrived late Friday 22:30 and bar closed a 23:00. The bed was uncomfortable. My daughter stayed in a single room (322) she was woken frequently by something running around in an above room. After waiting 10 mins at the breakfast queue, I had to knock on the kitchen door to get attention at 08:10. We needed to be at university for 09:00.
Not a lot but staff on whole were pleasant
Room was too hot and noisy not sure if it was the air conditioning unit outside window, also was supposed to be executive room had to ask for water the room was quite small, remote control was missing and not good reception on BBC 1 and 2
Bar tender very good and very helpful and very kind to give us free crisps as we were very hungry and looking for food.
Room is small. Bathroom is small - door too tight to the toilet bowl and wall. Shower is too small for bigger person and very slippery. Breakfast too early of finish (10 am). Restaurant close too early for late clients. Lack of staff to answer calls at the reception from the room.
The bed was comfortable we were there 2 nights, the location was good had a car park little hard to get park but was ok
Staff were extremely rude! We arrived at 3am as we travelled from Scotland, my partner asked for a drink even water and was told no there was nothing when we got to our room and see there was 24hr food & drink we were really angry, the member of staff was extremely rude and couldn't be bothered
everything in the stuart has improved 100 per cent the room had been refurbished bathroom lovely staff good 5 5
