the reception is very nice and we were greeted by a friendly worker. we were there for a friends wedding reception which was a wonderful evening. the breakfast the next morning was really nice, although my pet hate is sachets of tomato ketchup. overall our stay was very nice, although the room was a little small for an executive room and because of the design the bath was awkward to use,i had to stand in the bath to put the plug in. also there was no vanity unit in the bathroom just a glass shelf.

Easy to get to City Centre on foot & not too far to the Airport. We were there for Alton Leisure Park, however, only spent one day at the Park as we enjoyed shopping much more.

What a great hotel!! I saw it on a flash sale and booked before i read the reviews. I was a bit dubious as many had said it was noisy and far too hot in the room. But we had no problems at all!! It's a fabulous hotel, lovely staff and the room was perfect for our needs. There was also a celebrity staying at the same time as us, so it must be good. I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like but a couple of suggestions are, upgrade the tv's to a larger flatscreen with freeview (the small portable with only 5 free channels wasn't impressive) and a pool/gym could possibly bring in a few more customers.

The hotel is well situated in the city centre for shopping and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless. The bar & restaurant are nice but expensive. Unable to comment on function room but the communal areas do seem to be of a high standard. The hotel's website states it is a self-rated 4 star hotel. Don't go by this, 4 star is what they aspire to be. The restaurant, reception and bar areas are to this standard. The room we stayed in did not match this however. Although the furnishings were good, the room seemed unfinished. The tv was a 14' old style portable tv attached to the wall. The bathroom was clean and functional but lacked the style which the hotel portays itself as having. The room was small and we could hear other guests use the toilet and hear mobile phones vibrate when called. We were in a superior room. Overall my impression is that the hotel is still a work in progress in the rebranding and refurbishment. Therefore unless you get a cheap deal I would recommend Premier Lodge.

The beds were comfortable and the location was excellent The radiators were on full heat with no way of regulating, therefore our windows were wide open and the fan was on just to make the room bearable to live in. With the windows open a lot of outside noise from a social club was heard which disturbed our rest.

The decor was nice and wasnt too busy. The walls were very thin and our room was next to a car park so could hear deliveries early in the morning and could also here the room next to us - every conversation word for word and 5am in the morning!

The windows were very old and could not be fully closed. the room was very cold and could not be properly heated. The reception was not manned during the check-out (9am) I had to go to the backrooom and ask one of the 2 people there to service me. Both people at reception and serving breakfast were far from friendly.I will never ever use this hotel.

Very clean, comfortable room. The staff were courteous and helpful and processed the details of check-in & check-out efficiently. The parking was limited and had small spaces for the size of the hotel.

Clean comfy bed, hot water. Just what we needed for the night stay If I wanted to be picky one or two of the towels were a bit scratchy and sink cracked but did not deter from the stay.

Clean, comfortable, excellent price paid, very convenient location for nearby family gathering. The tv was a bit outdated and poor picture. I was only really there for somewhere to sleep but anyone staying longer may not have been happy

The price at £30 per night for a double room was great value, located just 5 mins walk from Westfield Shopping Centre was also ideal for somewhere to eat as well, We used it for Alton Towers and for this it was perfect, also good size car park around the back with 24H CCTV, room had usually kettle, hair dryer, ironing board and iron also a room safe but could not get this to work!! Room was a little on the small size also the walls where paper thin so could here everything even people just talking next door also floor boards creeked a lot in the courdoors and stair cases. The air-con units outside where a little bit noisy as well, Heating was turn off at the radiators I turn back on and in 5 mins room was warm, TV was very old and only had 6 channels working

Generally well-equipped with a pleasant staff, especially the housekeeping portion. WiFi was nonexistent in the room, which is annoying when you need to work.
