Comfortable surroundings, helpful and friendly staff, good location. Good value for money (special rate) Not advised by reception of parties Fri-Sat, Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon. Considerable noise into the early hours of thumping disco music. Some party-goers very noisy returning to room. Continous door slamming all night and noisey drinking in some rooms. It's a good thing for people to enjoy themselves, but why should other guests have to put up with this. Left a day early. Will never stay at the Stuart again. What should have been a ralaxing pleasant long weekend turned out to be a nightmare. |

The in room facilities were good and the small touches such as choclate, ironing board and fan etc very welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast rather expensive and no choice (well no obvious choice) of continental breakfast. The room was rather stuffy so the fan was a welcome addition. |

The hotel is clean and the fact that we could take the dog was very positive. The breakfast was massively overpriced, especially for what was offered. |

The staff were very friendly and considerate to us both. The room and hallways seemed to be too hot even with the window open. The bathroom when first entered was like a sauna. Bedroom furnishings were very tired. |

The hotel was pleasant, the staff helpful, the rooms clean, tidy and comfortable and there were good facillities inside the hotel and in the surrounding area. It made our break very enjoyable. Car parking is a bit of a lotttery if the hotel is busy |

The attention of the staff. I would not name the suite we stayed in executive, there were too many things lacking. |

Very clean and comfortable with rooms of a reasonable size. The restaurant was good and not too expensive. The location is about half way between the railway station and the city centre in a wide, tree lined street. The two story period building is easy to access as it has a ramp as well as steps. While the exterior retains its pleasant red brick period appearance the interior has been well modernised. Highly recommended. While the restaurant is good and generally not over priced the cost of a simple orange juice was outrageous and it wasn't even fresh! More vegetarian options on the menu would be helpful. |
