Situated in Hastings town centre, less than a mile from Hastings Castle, Alexanders is a family-run hotel overlooking the Sussex Coast. The historic Old Town is just a short stroll along the seafront....
Score from 178 reviews Very good
On Hastings seafront, The Lindum offers stunning beach views, and 4-star room-only accommodation with tea and coffee making facilities. Hastings town centre is just a 2-minute walk away.

With 5 stars and a Gold Award, this seaside boutique B&B is metres from the sea and has fantastic views. It combines Victorian character and elegant, modern design.
Score from 255 reviews Superb
Room with sea view, as requested Good set up for twin beds facility in the room Tasty breakfast (when we finally got it!)
Squeaky bed! Really poor, weak shower in bathroom Awful television and exceedingly poor TV reception Understaffed at breakfast
Fantastic size room, lovely view, very helpful and friendly staff.
Furniture a little bit dated but that does add character.
Location - sea view - friendliness
Poor TV - limited breakfast - no fresh coffee - expresso cappuccino etc
Great sea view and elegant stair case. The frontage was very reminiscent of the grandeur we seem to dismiss but it should be celebrated as a part of our great British Heritage and Invest I our grand historic Heritage
Draft from windows, shower to hot.
Large well equipped room Friendly and helpful staff Fantastic location Free Parking Wonderful breakfast
the location, the exterieur the breakfast
the old interieur, the old furnture and small beds
The room was very big and the location was good
The room was right next door to the lift which meant that every time it was in use I heard it clonking away. I almost asked if another room could be found for me as it wasn't exactly quiet which is what I requested, but as it was only for 2 nights I decided to put up with it. However, it did mean that I had to spend more time away from the hotel to what I had originally planned. Also the TV was old fashioned and although it worked well it wasn't what I was used to.
Room was spacious and bright.
Hotel is dated but has a nice charm.
Needs updating Lack of facilities, food stopped at 9.30
The whole ambience was very good. Excellent view
The lift was very slow.
Was able to park for free behind Hotel . Spacious family room with a queen bed and 2 singles meant we didnt trip over all our cases .. Non smoking . Deal didnt include breakfast but was very good value for 4 of us Ask for front room if possible .
Missed a little bar fridge in room for milk for tea etc
Sea view suite. Went to sleep and woke to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially in the restaurant. Great choice for breakfast - even for vegan me. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location right on sea front. Lots of restaurants nearby. Historic building very well maintained. The decor was lovely. The piano bar is a delight to lounge in while looking at the sea. Would definitely recommend and return.
Nothing. The lift was a bit slow, that's all.
the huge bedroom with large bathroom, and the tea making facilities and the fact that as I had a back room it was quiet.
staff could have been more up to date/informed about attractions. I did look up the bus route to Bodium Castle before my stay (bus 349) stopping at warrior square station, but after staff having looked up timetable they said I'd have to go right to Hastings Station, this was not true as having walked to Hastings Station the bus proceeded to journey right back down to stop opposite Warrior Square station. Woman bar staff a bit rude.
Staff were lovely, couldn't help enough, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of choice at breakfast.
TV didn't work properly, couldn't get BBC1 or Channel 4 most of time, or it would break down completely. Breakfast hot food buffet very unappetising if not down early.
The atmosphere of this victorian Hotel, and the very friendly staff.
The fingermarks on the entsance dood and lift
Lovely old fashioned building Waterfront location Good wifi
Great hotel building
attitude at complaining
the old world feeling our room overlooked the ocean the dining room was lovely too overlooking the ocean
The room 209, the bed.
Great room, location and atmosphere.
A very nice hotel and accommodation was nice big and airy room sea from view was excellent. In a sunny day it was spectacular. Friendly staff and good service.
Bed in general was not comfortable but nothing to complain about as we are all different and like different beds; although good sleep is essential and when we went to bed the sleep was disterbed by noise from outside and wind slamming the window frames and something else maybe tents on windows, constant banging all night long
Nothing to say as was excellent
parking outside hellpful staff spacious room
the staff were very helpful and great meals with excellent service in the dining room
Location. 2nd room wi-fi
Slow to replace TP only one elevator parking
