The whole experience and this is not our first visit. It is now our first choice when visiting the area.
The hotel reception & bar service was 1st class . Speedy housekeeping too, very enjoyable stay, and a good location.
We found the 2pm check in rules quite late, especially as we only stayed 1 night. Plus the fact there was no piano playing in the lounge.
Very large rooms, Very clean, Easy check in and out, Nice breakfast. All in all you get what you pay for and this does exactly what you would expect from a 2/3star hotel! It was perfectly located for us and the staff that we met were very friendly.
Very dated, Small TV,
The old world charm and the good breakfast. The peace
Friendly welcome Good breakfast Once opulent but could do with a bit of TLC. We enjoyed our visit and will use again on next trip to Hastings.
Parking locally on Street not dedicated parking zone Only limited Broadband
The rooms where big and clean, the Staff at the desk are very helpful and friendly
Staff was rude too my girl she is only 8 she ask if they had juice at the bar and I didn't like how the Spock to her.
We didn't expect that luxurious ness of the room i felt like a royalty
The bed was small for us
When I was having shower at 9:30pm, there was no hot water. I waited for about 15 mins with the hot water tap on. And then when the hot water was running, there was no cold water at all. I could only manage to wash my hair, that's it!
Room not very clean. decoration very dated and tired. Staff not great English. Restaurant staff not attentive
Great location. Friendly staff
Spacious Edwardian type of hotel. Comfortable rooms. Dinner and wine list good value. Excellent breakfast.
The lift was a bit slow to arrive.
Near the beach and central Hastings for all facilities.
Spacious suite with fridge. Loads of hot water. Very quiet.
Everything you needed in the room. Free parking
Pillows were hard and lumpy. Long walk to the Old Town not ideal location if have disability
No hot water at 7:30am.
Nice size room and a quiet room.
Luxury suite on the sea front, the bed was too small. Poor quality TV channels which meant the reception was poor.
The hotel architecture was stunning, the staff were friendly and the food was good.
room and hotel in general great location
breakfast not included 10 £ per person a bit steep on top of what was paid for the room
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were generally very polite.
We were on the 4th floor & had problems getting hot water. This was obviously a known problem as when we expressed our concerns to reception, we were advised to run the taps for much longer than you would expect.&
location, right on the seafront,
very limited sea view from room, food was very average
Location and friendly staff. During a storm we had a water leak in our room and they offered to move us to another room with NO problems
Rooms need a fan installed
I was taken ill at the hotel and the staff were exceptional
The chef was amazing and was able to accommodate a gluten free diet. The view at dinner was wonderful but the service was only adequate. The room was very hot but staff went out of their way to find a fan otherwise it would have been intolerable.
The deluxe ?? room was adequate. the TV was ancient and sputtered with its delivery of programs. The sofa and chair in the room must have been there since Queen Victoria and were uncomfortable. The staff forgot to give me a very important wake up call and I almost missed a funeral. When I checked out I was given the bill but was not asked what I thought of the service. It wouldn't take too much to improve this hotel particularly in relation to the service
