The room was very spacious and clean. Room key didn't work when coming back from a night out, no night staff on reception to assist us. Slept in reception for an hr & half before someone finally showed up to re-programme our keys.

We had 2 excellent rooms which exceeded our expectations that is because they were suites and we only booked 2 standard rooms There is no on site parking which is a pity as you have to fight with the local residents in the area for street parking but that wasn't a really big issue. There was also some confusion over the price of breakfast as the price in the restuarant was twice the price quoted in our room!!!!!

It was truly ,coated directly across from the beach. The rooms were very spacious. WE did not eat in the hotel restaurant since we did not fancy the meals offered and the breakfasts were pricy, but there was an amazing restaurant, the Azur directly across the street.

We visited the hotel for a wedding, having a 3 course meal in a function room and staying the night with many family members also booking rooms. We had booked a non sea view room but we didnt need the view when we saw our room, it was so spacious, clean and had all we needed, excellent value for money. Staff throughout our stay we`re very helpful and friendly. Would love to visit again. Not much going on outside the hotel, hastings about a mile up the road, so car came in handy.

Had a room backside of the hotel. Opposite was a party going on. (Saturday night) No chance to get some sleep. On top of that when the party stopped, partyguests were chatting, singing and shouting in the parkinglot below our room. We were happy to leave the hotel in the morning (quite tired....)

The decor and space of the hotel was stunning. Staff were very friendly and professional. Was near a wedding venue that we attended. Was 100% happy with our stay. The sofa in the room was very pretty but not comfortable for my husband, who had a back pain problem. Maybe there should be a small area that could accomodate smokers.

Delightful entrance. Olde worlde Victorian grandeur. Often in seaside towns hotels are 'well worn,' but even in the corridors and bedrooms the carpets and decorations were spotless; the bathrooms modern. Half hour walk to town along the delightful prom, which is a plus to us. But on regular bus route, too, for those who don't like to stroll. Outstanding value for money.

Location on seafront in the right location. There was little difference between this and the Premier Inn/Travelodge type accomodation, I think that they are missing out on the obvious heritage of the hotel.

hotel built in 1823 and holds many of the original features. The staircase is amazing. The suite we stayed in was very spacious and made a tremendous difference to our stay at the Best Western Royal Victoria hotel compared with our numerous other stays at hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation. The suite was very clean and tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the building. Unfortunately due to only staying one night we were not able to enjoy the full facilities of the hotel due to our limited time there but do intend on revisiting at some point when we will use more of the facilites. We consider that our stay at the hotel was one of the best if not the best stay we have had in a hotel. It will be hard to beat the size of the suite we stayed in for the very reasonable price that we paid. The staff were welcoming and friendly and a credit to the establishment. We cant wait for our next stay at the Best Western Royal Victoria Hotel Well done to all Did not find any fault at all. It met all our needs and expectations.

The receptionist, that booked me in was fantastic, friendly, informative, in fact, I stood chatting with her whilst I was waiting for some one to arrive to meet me the same lady was there on sat nite and sunday morning when i checked out i would definatley book again, of which i travel to Hastings on a regular basis Only complaint, I had was that the shower in Bathroom, was outdated and did't function very well, it didn't matter cos there was also a bath

Staff very helpful and polite. Room was very clean, warm and relatively big compared to others I have stayed in. Bed was a bit hard for me. Car parking poor especially if you have lots or heavy bags. Breakfast is expensive.
