Friendliness of staff. The upgrade to a suite The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I thought this accolade appled to my bed in the Birch hotel in Haywards heath but wednesday's experience took the biscuit. |

Rooms were large and comfortable and not bad value for Money. Scrambled eggs were made from powdered eggs, not too good. |

I liked the proximity to the seafront. I can see there is the potential to maximise the old world charm of the hotel but sadly not much was made of this. It is undeniably seedy and very tired. For a night's stay we payed almost £200 if you include dinner and it does not meet a reasonable expectation for that kind of money. |

The Chatsworth Hotel is one of the landmarks of Hastings, situated in a superb position on the seafront. All 52 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped to the highest standard. |
With an indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi, York House has a stunning seafront position, less than 400 metres from the pier, and only 20 metres from the gently-sloping beach. |
Set amid 38 acres of woodland and gardens, 3 miles away from the historic towns of Hastings and Battle in East Sussex, the hotel is an ideal base to explore 1066 country. |
Combining the elegance of the Victorian age with every modern facility, the hotel occupies a premier position on the seafront overlooking the Western Lawns and Wish Tower, with superb views of Beachy... |
