Nice and quiet!!

Friendly very clean , value for money, defiantly to be recommended as this was my second visit.

The location and above all, the excellent service and friendliness of the staff. We had Emailed ahead of our visit to ask if we could vacate the room at 12 noon instead of 10am as we were attending a wedding at 1pm. This was no problem and reception were aware of our request upon arrival.

It is a nice location for London city trips, only 5mins walk from the railway station. Spacy rooms and a perfect shower.

Very simple Breakfast is severed in the room. Unfortunately there is only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed whilst having breakfast.

I thought the area was very nice and clean, the marina is great to walk around. And the staff are very helpful.

The room was ok but the only problem I found is we could hear people walking round in the room above us, that's the only criticism really.

Beautiful quiet riverside site, rural feel, secluded. Breakfast fine, facilities quite adequate e.g. TV, small fridge in room, bathroom equipment excellent, etc.

Internet link: took me hours to get it to work, repeated calls to internet provider (they were helpful in attitude, though). I was given a free hour on 17th April as compensation, but it was a big time waster when I had several business emails to send and receive. The hotel site's internet never worked and I had to walk 5 - 10 minutes to the marina side cafe where I eventually got on the Net.

rooms very good value for money.

no place to have a breakfast or a meal on site, room backs on to lane with alot of cars vans ect back and forth .

plenty of parking space,friendly staff,train station ontop of the village and 30 mins to London.

could smell smoke from wood burners from longboats in our room at evening times.

Large rooms, clean, comfy and has everything you need. Park right outside the door!..The location couldn't possibly be better in my opinion either, neither could the price. Excellent!

Nice private quiet budget hotel

The location.

No breakfast or meal option.

We should have been notified that the restaurant and bar was closed. Therefore breakfast consisted of cereal and packaged croissant in our room which wasn't very pleasant.

Booked in conjunction with Xmas party on site so was ideal

Bathroom ceiling, windows and window blind covered in mould :(((

I thought I received excellent value for money, my room had everything I required and more, ample parking right outside my door, a great stay for anybody.

Friendly staff and budget friendly

Television and hot water did not work on arrival. They were fixed immediately the next day.

Was told no food available then saw people eating there ??? Tried to compliment cleaners on lovely room but was ignored. Perhaps people dont expect compliments anymore ?

My most favourite thing was the bathroom and especially the shower [except for the flimsy shower curtain - which needs a heavier more robust kind] The setting must be lovely in the summer, and my daughter and myself were not there long enough to try a cooked breakfast, we found the continental one quite suitable for the quick stay.

My first problem was the lack of signage. It is not obviously a hotel as we know the word, particularly that there is no dinner available. And because there are other options from the main car park it is not clear where the 'hotel' reception is. The tv in number 6 needs renewing - it has a nasty buzz on it.
