I am quite fussy about where I stay and often find fault (as I am a bit f a grumpy old man at heart), but this place was just 'great'. I recieved a warm welcome, and found the room to be clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was very nice and the service was very good. |

Excellent friendly staff. Good food and good beer. Made our stay very enjoyable. I gave my debit card details to your staff, and reading the booking details thought my account had been debitted by booking . com. However this I found was not so when I cleared the bill!. |

good parking, good food, nice clean room I asked for a quiet room, but it was very noisy - other guests, slamming doors, creaking floorboards, but worst of all, traffic noise from busy main road. |

A charming, querky old world inn with many interesting features, with good food too. The room being on the top floor, up some very steep winding stairs. |

The Room was fantastic with lots of Characture, while the Hotel was very pleasant and the dining area provided an excellent start to the day. The food was well presented and very tasty and well proportioned. The address sated Banbury but it was just outside in Adderbury. This made it difficult to find. |

The hotel and the rooms were very comfortable and quaint. The staff and regular clients were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. I would have preferred to be a little closer to Banbury. |

The open fire, with the original period features created a wonderful ambiance, and the meals, especially breakfast were fantastic. The bed in my room tlted to the left so we kept sliding to that side during the night, but I realise this was due to the floor and the age of the building. |

I had a really fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, my room was goregous (we were upgraded to the royalist room after mentioning it was an anniversary break), and the food and general service were excellent. This place is amazing value for money, and has all the old features you'd hope for in an old coaching inn. |

Very narrow, very steep staircase up to rooms and with suitcases (we had just come back from abroad) this was not easy. Then when we thought we had it cracked - we had another very steep windy climb. Definately not for the elderly or infirm. Room was very spacious though and bed was the most comfortable I had slept in in a long time. Steep steps, no water pressure |
