Rubens At The Palace  

The location was perfect. The room was good. The bathroom was great including both a tub and shower. The Concierge staff was outstanding. The towels were large and soft. The bed and linens were way above average. Very close to the principal London tourist locations as well as Victoria Rail and Underground stations. Our stay was for 8 nights and we would recommend the Rubens to other travelers looking for high quality accommodations in a great location.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was small, but adequate, with all the amenities, and nicely decorated. In-room coffee was a bonus. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years, we either run the London Marathon or support, and have always recommended it to friends because of the location. It is a little pricey, but sometimes you can get deals. We have always found the staff very helpful, and we have only had to complain once in 7 years, and that was because the booking company had double booked us on 2 rooms (there was 12 of us stopping) and our friends were put in another luxury hotel just around the corner.

Quirky hotel. Good staff and good price for a London hotel. Close to Victoria so useful as a base and very close to Buckingham Palace for sight seeing.

Not many eating places close by. Some but only open Mon to Fri for lunch.

Double room was a good size, but my mother's single room was only the size of the bed plus a 4-inch margin for shuffling round!

Very good location, friendly service, clean, nice hotel. It is relatively small giving you a feel of family hotel. Good choice if you want to visit London.

People and situations are different but in general it is a good hotel. If lucky and nothing bad will happen, should be guaranteed a positive experience.

Charming hotel with a warm, personable staff who are always prepared with recommendations for food & transporation. They catered to our every need. Our birthday trip to London could not have been better! The proximity to Buckingham Palace, theatres, underground and parks makes it a wonderful choice if you're looking for a good launching point for a weekend or longer. Nice piano bar for decompressing after a long day, 2 good restaurants, comfortable rooms, funky decor. We are already planning a return in a few months. Highly recommend it.
