My husband and I stopped there with our 16yr old daughter for the London Marathon. We would definately recommend this hotel. When we arrived we were offered the chance of a larger room in the part of the hotel over the rd without a lift on the 3rd floor or one in the main hotel with a lift, we opted for over the rd,we don't mind stairsbut these stairs are quite exhausting so choose carefully. The hotel was very clean and quiet, even though renovation works were going on we were barely aware of them. The staff were helpful and very welcoming and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and had great, adjustable lighting, so were very relaxing on an evening. Very close to the tube and lots of bars, restaurants (everything from Burger King and McDonalds to cafes, Indians, steakhouses, Lebanese and brasseries) and local shops right on your doorstep and easy walking distance to Hyde Park and Oxford street. A great all round value for money hotel in a great area. We would definately stay here again.

The location close to Paddington Station was ideal for my purposes. It is a couple of minutes walk and very easy to find. It was not to noisy either in side the hotel or in the street outside. The staff were very good and friendly. I paid only £49 for one night with Breakfast included. Despite some minor problems I would still stay there again. It does seem a little churlish to be critical given the price I paid, if I had paid more I think I would have more to complain about. I am not sure what look they were aiming for with the décor - boutique maybe, instead it reminded me of 1980's Flash Gordon movie. There was no toilet paper, when I asked for this, I had to go the reception myself to collect it. The toilet was running constantly, the receptionist came in and removed the flush panel and declared this 'fixed' I had to operate this by putting my hand into the mechanism and pulling the thingy up! the door lock to the room refused to work as well, but after much fiddling by the receptionist we found that if you stood on one leg whilst humming God Save the Queen it worked 9 out of ten times so that was declared fixed too. The bedside table (glass and metal) seemed to have a family of ants living in it - I decided that this would probably tip the receptionist over the edge so me and the ants spent the night together. I don't think the above problems were new either. Minor as there were they really ought to be fixed.

As a solo traveller the the room met my needs it was quirky and comfortable, the guy who booked me in on Saturday 21st was extremely helpful and very pleasant Having a ground floor room I initially worried about it being too noisy but even though you could hear a few of the louder guests going back and forth to the tea/coffee facilities I was not disturbed through the night or too early in the morning There not being enough room to have breakfast when I went down initially on the 23rd April I was lucky that I wasn't in a rush to get a train so could go back to my room for a cup of tea on that note it would be nice to have a small kettle in the room just so as not to have to get dressed before going into reception to get a hot drink

The hotel was reasonably priced for London and the staff were very helpful. The room/bath were very small but it was acceptable considering the price. My family, consisting of 3 couples and 4 children occupied 3 triple rooms. Breakfasts were good. We ate out nearby in the evenings.

Excellent hotel where everything worked as they should. The room was not big, but with this price level in London it was good. The interior materials and shower/toilet equipment are not very english which is a benefit in a budget price London hotel. Service was very good, proper english breakfast served. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The room was very modern and well thought out The room would have been perfect if it wasnt for the creeky floorboards in the passage way which seemed to have continous traffic of people walking on them.

A great value for money hotel. Excellent location, literally 5 min walk to the Paddington train/tube station. Quick access to Oxford Street/Marble Arch, only 5 mins by taxi and costs less than 4 pounds. The receptionist Rodrigo was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Went to London for the first time. Picked hotel for price and location. Location was fantastic. Within walking distance of local shops with plenty to do and see. Then a tube journey to all major attractions. Hotel staff were all friendly and wiling to help with any queries we had. Price included breakfast which was very good always plenty to choose from.

We upgraded to the suite which was perfect. It allowed our two children (ages 12 and 8) to get to bed earlier. The hotel staff were very helpful with booking attractions that we wanted to see and provide great advice about where to go and what to do.

Excellent location. I stayed in a single bed room suit with my family. We stayed for 3 nights all enjoyed the spacious rooms at hotel with all facilties like regroigerator, kettle, dining table, serving plates, utensils etc. The house keeping was excellent. We asked for an extension for check out and they agreed until 1.30PM without any hesitation and any additonal charge! I'll certainly recommend this hotel to all. Crowded entrance direct to busy street.

I liked the fact that a problem on arrival regarding the payment of our rooms (a temp working in the reseption), were solved straight away when I talked to the manager. Aircondition in the suites worked nicely, and our room were clean and fresh. 5 mins walk from Paddington St, and next door to several small restaurants etc. The twinroom was tiny, the triple stylosuite had two beds and a sofabed, all of which had matresses that was extremely hard! The twin room and stylosuite that we booked for the five of us were in separate buildings.

At the price this would be hard to beat in such a fantastic central London location. No, it isn't a five-star. My room was tiny - but then again the best organised tiny room I have ever seen! And the way the place has been refurbished makes for a bit of noise. But the facilities are excellent and the full English breakfast included in the room rate was the icing on the top. If you want to stay for a few days in central London without breaking the bank (as is usually the case) this is the place to consider.

This is a very modern and 'cool' hotel. The rooms are a bit on the small side but were clean and comfortable. The decor is very modern and fun and the staff were excellent. With a free breakfast, value for money rooms and very central location I would definately stay here again. Limited parking - not able to reserve parking prior to visit.

Service was good, location ideal as needed to be near Paddington. There were other guests who were very noisy and the rooms were not very sound-proofed. There was a sewage smell that lingered in the bathroom.

The location was great and in walking distance to Hyde Park. The staff very friendly and helpful. The sytle was different and out dated and worn, although must have been very stylish 10 years ago. The bathroom was an all in one unit in a sealed cubical in the bedroom, so had no window and was dirty, small and well worn.

The hotel is only 5 mins walk from Paddington Station. It made it easy for those from Heathrow Airport Via Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect. Room is kinda small for 2 big luggages but still manageable. Small and basic en-suite toilet with showers. (No bathtub) Hotel and room designs are modern. Hot and Cold Breakfast selection are available.
