My husband and I stopped there with our 16yr old daughter for the London Marathon. We would definately recommend this hotel. When we arrived we were offered the chance of a larger room in the part of the hotel over the rd without a lift on the 3rd floor or one in the main hotel with a lift, we opted for over the rd,we don't mind stairsbut these stairs are quite exhausting so choose carefully. The hotel was very clean and quiet, even though renovation works were going on we were barely aware of them. The staff were helpful and very welcoming and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and had great, adjustable lighting, so were very relaxing on an evening. Very close to the tube and lots of bars, restaurants (everything from Burger King and McDonalds to cafes, Indians, steakhouses, Lebanese and brasseries) and local shops right on your doorstep and easy walking distance to Hyde Park and Oxford street. A great all round value for money hotel in a great area. We would definately stay here again.

The hotel is in a quiet street and beautiful, the reservation was made in a practical and safe. At the hotel you will find a very efficient service to receive information about the city and tourist attractions can buy tickets. Friendliness and efficiency! Is a pity not to have wi fi in the room and charge for this.

The location close to Paddington Station was ideal for my purposes. It is a couple of minutes walk and very easy to find. It was not to noisy either in side the hotel or in the street outside. The staff were very good and friendly. I paid only £49 for one night with Breakfast included. Despite some minor problems I would still stay there again. It does seem a little churlish to be critical given the price I paid, if I had paid more I think I would have more to complain about. I am not sure what look they were aiming for with the décor - boutique maybe, instead it reminded me of 1980's Flash Gordon movie. There was no toilet paper, when I asked for this, I had to go the reception myself to collect it. The toilet was running constantly, the receptionist came in and removed the flush panel and declared this 'fixed' I had to operate this by putting my hand into the mechanism and pulling the thingy up! the door lock to the room refused to work as well, but after much fiddling by the receptionist we found that if you stood on one leg whilst humming God Save the Queen it worked 9 out of ten times so that was declared fixed too. The bedside table (glass and metal) seemed to have a family of ants living in it - I decided that this would probably tip the receptionist over the edge so me and the ants spent the night together. I don't think the above problems were new either. Minor as there were they really ought to be fixed.

First of all : the design lived up to my expectations. Maybe not always that functional, but awesome all the same. Secondly : It´s location is second to none. Paddington tube/railway station almost next door. Two more tubestations in the vicinity and hoards of buses going hither and thither. Thirdly, really should be no. 1. The personnel at the hotel who were more than helpful. Nikos the Nightshift Man was our favourite. Looks gorgeous as well. A mention also goes to the Kasantzakis ancestor. Nice surroundings. Al Yaha?, Lebanese restaurant were our favorite. Real friendly and good food for a fair price. Breakfast could be a bit more futuristic and why not Greek, but I imagine that there still are a lot of humans who goes for these perverse english sausages. My loved one, my Queen, wasn,t satisfied with the lighting in the room. Rather coldish and not supportive of romantic activities et cetera. But we managed anyway thankyou. Well, that´s it. We´ll be back next year.

I stayed in a double suite for 2 nights and I can only say that location, comfort and staff are hard to match for the rate I paid. It's 1 minute away from the Paddington station and about 4-5 minutes away from the central line underground station. Hyde Park is about 5-7 minute walk . The stop for the Big Bus (tourist hop on/off) is around the corner. Shops and a bunch of restaurants around. The room was very clean, all the reception guys were very informative and helpful. Breakfast is ok, same as in any other hotel around that area - simple but very fulfilling with toasts, eggs, cereal (few kinds), juices and coffee/tea. This place does not have an elevator, so taking luggage to and from the 3rd floor was a it challenging

The hotel is a a great location less than 5 mins walk from paddinton station and near to hyde park..The staff are friendly and helpful .The hotel offers a free left luggage service and hot drinks were available in the reception area. The rooms are compact but well designed and comfortable. The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold items and was of a good standard .I would be happy to stay again .

The attempt at making the hotel appear stylish and modern gave it a fun athmostphere. Half expected to see Captain Kirk and Mr.Spock to teleport into our room! Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the freedom to go back for seconds as often as you liked. Very good location for exploring London. I chose this hotel because I was with my 3 teenage sons; they loved it. Would have preferred if the booking fee had included breakfast as was the case with every other smaller sized room. However, we were offered a 20% discount on arrival if we booked breakfast for both nights.
