Staff very friendly and helpfull..New wing is lovely and very comfortable. Location excellent and views to die for..Just stayed the one night for my husbands birthday..but would definately book again. The main hotel is very tired but full of character. The new wing is very comfortable and tastefully decorated..perhaps a few new chairs in the bar area would make it a bit more appealing.

Beautiful old manor with exceptional gardens. Thought we were staying in the main Hall however our accomodation was in the new unit block which was modern & comfy however we were a liitle disappointed that we were not aware of this prior to making our booking. Full service breakfast was a very nice touch & the food quality was excellent. All in all a lovely stay & would stay again.

We stayed there for one night and it was wonderful, the room was beautiful and bed was cosy. I like the looking of the building, old but feels good. The reception girl was nice and friendly, helped us get some leaflets for bath and walked us around the hotel. It's still a bit far away from Bath town centre, you need a car to drive you there otherwise it's not easy to get to town.

The hotel has a lovely combination of a beautiful main house and grounds with modern accommodation in the annexe building. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and well decorated. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful. The food was of excellent quality. We would definitely take the opportunity to stay there again.

The hotel suite was very good, but the hotel itself needs updating, the grounds are lovely and scenery are great. The food was a big let down, and the bar was not stocked with much choice, no decent wine or dark rum, I had to drink pop, disappointing.

Stunning view from the hotel room window, Friendly and helpful hotel staff. We are only stay in this hotel one night, but we would like to go back to stay in this hotel again. We had a great and enjoy dinner in the restaurant at Rudloe Hall Hotel. And also fab breakfast. Thanks you all. This is a small team of hotel staff, but I do hope there is a someone who can work in t the hotel bar. We were there after the dinner And relax watch tv in the bar area, but not any member of hotel staff there to do the drink. Thanks

If you're looking for a good value country house hotel near Devizes, Chippenham or Bath, with lovely grounds, comfortable rooms and a first class chef, then look no further. I stayed one Thursday night before Easter 2012, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bedrooms considering th price paid. My early checkout the following morning was no problem, and the full English breakfast was well cooked and beautifully presented.

We staying in a modern building rather than the old gothic hall. The apartment was really roomy and private with good views and lots of windows that we could open and get fresh air and listen to the birds singing in the morning. There was tea making facilities in the room - always a plus. The apartment have a 'finished' feel about it. There was a space that had obviously been originally designed to be a kitchenette area but no kitchen fitted. The curtains were falling off the hooks at several of the windows. Everything adequate but no frills!

What I liked about the hotel was the location, the look of the hotel and the fact they have kept the traditional feel about it and not changed the original part of the hall. The gardens were very pleasant to take an early morning fresh air walk around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room over the box valley was amazing, with the hot air balloons rising in the distance and the sun shining, the frost on the grass glistening in the sun made the morning even more special. I didnt really dislike anything about the hotel. The only downside was that there was a pile of rubble which was visible when you stood at the end of the garden. Perhaps need to tidy this up a little.

The location was very good. The staff was some of the best I have met. The price was a bit high for the hotel at the moment as it needs updating in the main bedrooms.

We stayed at the Rudloe Hall Hotel in March for one night, we were really pleased with our room which was a suite situated in the newly refurbished separate building, the room was immaculate and very nicely decorated, it had everything we needed and was extremely spacious, we were on the first floor and had two balconies! The breakfast was wonderful, service excellent and the quality of food was superb. The location is ideal for Bath which is why we stayed here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definately be staying here again in the future.

The new annexe was lovely - the room was a suite and was lovely and spacious. Main house of hotel was looking a little shabby in public areas. Only whole milk was provided for tea & coffee. There was no note paper or hairdryer provided in the room. Breakfast staff were not very attentive. Value for money was okay based on the rate we paid (£97) but would not have been for the published rate of £185.
