Staff very friendly and helpfull..New wing is lovely and very comfortable. Location excellent and views to die for..Just stayed the one night for my husbands birthday..but would definately book again. The main hotel is very tired but full of character. The new wing is very comfortable and tastefully decorated..perhaps a few new chairs in the bar area would make it a bit more appealing.

Staff were all very helpful, breakfast was wonderful & we stayed in one of the rooms in the house overlooking the valley. Stunning view with a beautiful four poster bed which was very comfortable. Excellent weekend stay close to the City of Bath & the beautiful countryside around.

We needed the room for one night just on the way, and booked the room 12 hours before check-in. The price for superior double room was really great. We were surprised with room for this money. Very good value for money On Sunday morning it was quite busy in the restaurant

The young staff were generally attentive and polite and the hotel was generally warm despite the strong and cold winds. Breakfasts and dinners were good. Views from rooms facing the valley were very picturesque. The building, rooms and furniture were past their best and the whole atmosphere was one of despair and decay. The dinners were overpriced and the menu was quite restricted. The isolated location meant transport was essential.

We had a lovely couple of days away at Rudloe Hall Hotel. The hotel and grounds were excellent and we had a really relaxing time. Complements for the excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade and stayed in the Tower suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Thank you to the hotel and all the staff for a special couple of days. I appreciate that the hotel is due for a refurbishment in the very near future and will look forward to revisiting to see what has been done. Only one minor suggestion - could the mirrors please be placed to accomodate people over 5'6'' tall. Thank you

Imposing stately main building and grounds and also able to provide apartment style accomodation in new annex suitable for families Main building needs refurbishment and the quality of the restaurant food does not match the price

It's an old building that does have some charm, but it is really a long way past it's best. Food was only average, my room (in the main building, not the newer rooms) scruffy and full of very old furniture - might be trying too create an authentic feel, but it doesn't work very well. My room had 2 baths... one where it should be in the bathroom, and one next to the bed in the bedroom! No hair dryer, iron or board. Can be requested, but I didn't realise that there wasn't a hair dryer there until I had wet hair in the morning... The newer rooms may well be better, but I'll try somewhere else next time.

We stayed at Rudloe Hall for the night. We had our room upgraded to the tower room which was just perfect, spacious, clean and romantic with a stunning view of beautiful grounds. The staff were friendly, the hotel seemed to have a family feel to it making the whole experience the most relaxing that I have had in a very long time. The breakfast was lovely. We were close to Bath city centre which made for a lovely stroll around early evening. Followed by a bite to eat. Would love to return to the hotel for longer would totally recommend it to anyone. I have read reviews saying it looks tired. It is an old hotel which is stunning what would you expect?

Location, room size Room temperature not adjustable. Dining room too small for number of guests. Staff distracted by need to clear tables for next guests.

“Gorgeous quiet location surrounded by lovely gardens. We didn't have time to make use of tennis courts etc but again, lovely setting for a tennis match.
