Fifteen miles east of York, The KP is set amongst a golf course and 180 acres of woodland. It offers luxurious hotel rooms, a stylish bar and restaurant, and free parking and WiFi.
Score from 225 reviews Wonderful
Wonderful location, I was travelling around the country by motorcycle, the staff were extremely helpful, in advising on best routes for the next leg and having no problem in my staying an extra hour or so in the room until the fog had cleared and I could leave. A wonderful stop over.
I always enjoy staying at Rudstone Walk with the dogs as it is so close to the motorway and breaks up our journey when heading to Withernsea to visit family and friends. They do meals for residents now too so ideal if you don't want to head into Walkington or Beverley for a meal.
Friendly and really helpful staff, location, breakfast
Insects, temperamental shower
The staff were brilliant. Couldn't do enough to help, after a family emergency. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recomend
We were walking the Wolds Way so the pick-up and drop-off service was great.
Breakfast and dinner - food average at best and certainly not value for money. Its an expensive place to stay. Facilities and common areas are poor for the amount paid.
Cottage needs a little TLC.
Comfortable beds,pleasant staff,good breakfast
Grubby bathroom , poor housekeeping , no wi fi access in room although it was advertised.
Comfortable, clean rooms. Rooms are big. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Views are lovely.

Lovely location, friendly staff
Could hear when people next door were in the bathroom
location staff food
dark room and not private when opened blinds stringer light bulbs needed in bathroom freezer needing repair
The Staff were very friendly and the location/views were very good.
No mirror in the bathroom although there was fittings in place for such. Several light bulbs were missing. A broken wardrobe door was sticking out in the bedroom. Cobwebs/dust around TV cabinet. With all the things mentioned above it was definitely not worth the £85 I paid for the night, and I was especially disappointed as it was my partners birthday!
Lovely location, very helpful staff, comfortable room.
Breakfast second morning - food excellent but there was a conference in the main room which made me (& 2 others) feel neglected in the dining room after super service the day before.
Excellent reception staff helped us booking taxis for the evening went out of their way to do this for us when most companies were booked up
Spacious room and clean enough
It was very difficult to locate, and distance from other amenities too far to my liking. I was disappointed that breakfast was not included as part of my lodging. I have seen far better places.
Staff and facilities were excellent, we will stay every time we're in the area.
Relaxed atmosphere. Good home cooked food
Duvets were a little heavy and a bit "solid"
Everyone was friendly and helpful, food was very good with a range of dishes freshly prepared with quality ingredients.
The staff were very friendly and really helpful
Nice rural setting. This was my fourth visit.
Rooms worn. Bed hard
