The Rufford Arms Hotel is a family-run establishment, a short walk from the center of Rufford and offering a restaurant and free parking. The restaurant offers modern home cooked meals, made with local fresh produce. Light snacks are also available and special diets can be catered for with prior notice. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom with a hairdryer. Guests can also enjoy TVs and tea/coffee making facilities and some rooms have views of the countryside. It was brilliant, thank you very much, we were very well looked after, great bar staff / staff in general were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent, just sorry I was one of the two in our group that had to go so early in the morning as to miss it, but the others were very happy, would highly recommend the Rufford Arms.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt very relaxed,the room was immaculate and spacious. When we went for dinner the staff made us feel very welcome. The service was second to none and the food was delicious.. We would have no hesitation in recomending the hotel and would like to stay again soon..this was a treat for my wifes 50th birthday and the whole experiance was fantastic, keep up the good work.

The staff were very accommodating giving us a tea and toast supper when we arrived at 11 pm. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and just the right size for our one night stay. I prefer a shower with a flexible hose rather than a fixed head.

A great little hotel with good facilities and very helpful staff. The diningroom served excellent breakfasts and we ate at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a first class meal in every respect.

The staff were the best I have come across in a smaller hotel. Very welcoming and attentive, as was the owner. When we arrived, we had a problem where our bin had not been emptied and there was a sanitary item in the bin, however, when we informed the Duty Manager, he dealt with it immediately and bought us our first drink on arrival. The morning of our departure, we were given a free breakfast for the inconvenience. Fantastic!

A lovely hotel with very clean bedrooms and excellent food. Free wireless and friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing in walking distance of the hotel.

Very comfortable and clean room, easily adjustable heating, good selection of tea, coffee, etc., plus bottle of water. Friendly staff. Very good location for our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends or relatives. A small quibble but noted by us. We were charged full English Breakfast rate for just poached/scrambled eggs on toast when we thought they were cheaper according to the menu. A pity as this slightly marred an otherwise excellent hotel visit.

Friendly staff, fantastic shower and quiet surroundings. Helped towards a very relaxing weekend. The location was a bit isolated and the price was a little high considering this and that breakfast wasn't included.

Clean, friendly and very good value for money. Room was of excellent standard, lots of parking and easy access. I only ate breakfast but it was freshly cooked and made a nice change from the usual cattle market breakfast buffets most hotels have. It was nice to stay somewhere where you felt like a person not just a number.
