Breakfast Shower was hot Cheap Clean
Smell in bathroom (sicky smell from sink) Noise from road Bit worn down As a point to mention stairs are quite steep (ok for me but elderly or disabled would struggle)
location, comfy bed, friendly staff, value for money
curtains not wide enough to cover window
I liked the location of the hotel
The rooms décor was terrible outdated and old, there were cobwebs and stains on the curtains. none of the furniture matched and the door to the desk was falling off. in the bathroom there was shower gel in the shower that had been used by others and was dirty.
Friendly reception staff, warm room. A bit basic but it was at the lower end of the market price range. Would stay again.
Breakfast was a bit basic. Filled a hole however. To be fair it was included in the price, whereas others for similar money charge extra.
Location in Earl's Court, close to metro, polite staff, price (as one of the cheapest in town), moderised bathroom (plenty of bathrooms in economy hotels in England are a lot worse), clean, warm (in winter), free wifi, attempt to make room nicely decorated (silk curtains etc), tea making facilities
Room was quite small, twin beds, we were way up on the 3rd floor - steep steps but that's ok, shower was not brilliant, hair drier was very old and did not work anyway, the breakfast was down 4 flights to the basement (ok), the buffet breakfast was very limited indeed. They have tried to make a nice room of it with nice decorations, but the food itself was basic (eg yesterday's scones, big pile of weetbix), poor coffee. But this was not an expensive hotel so one really cannot expect too much more in the circumstances in fairly central London. Fine for a basic night's accommodation.
Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.
The hotel is about 2 minutes from Earl's Court station, it's the first left and then on the right hand side. The reception staff are friendly, and the entrance is pleasant. The free breakfast has a nice variety of fresh bread, fresh coffee, a different kind of fresh fruit each day, cheese variety, juice and cereal. There was also jam, peanut butter, yoghurt and some muffins.
Room 1 is a huge family room but is near the dining area so a bit noisy. The decor was slightly worn. The hairdryers need replacing. The breakfast and cleaning staff are a bit mute. Overall this place is a little gem though and at a good price.
Location close to Earls Court Station, Lovely breakfast room
three flights of steep stairs with no lift, excessive noise from room above, TV not working and not fixed when asked, really hard bed.
- close to Earl's Court - quiet location - very clean - not to expensive
getting outdated - fairly small room [15m2 incl bathroom] - very basic breakfast
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Decent cold continental breakfast. Clean, warm and comfortable. Able to leave luggage after checkout. Can leave prior to check-in but our room was available at !0.30 am! Brilliant service as we said we would be arriving mid-morning.
Not a dislike or problem for us but be aware that stairs quite steep and no lift so could be problem for people with very heavy bags or with mobility problems
Fast check in, good room by London standards, good wifi. Good location.
Breakfast is served too late... Causes unnecessary rush so bad start to busy day.
Everything would use it again,
No channel 3 on the T.V. Not really a problem but nice to see.
Frriendly and helpful staff; Excellent location - on a calm street, just next to the metro so it's easy to travel around the city; the street next to the hotel has a few bars and shops where one can have a meal/drink, too; Nice breakfast;
If you are with a 'greener' mindset you may be a bit put off by the lack of energy efficiency - the windows are with single glazing and one can feel the wind (and noise) blowing through while the heating is clearly up
Welcoming staff excellent position very good value
Impossible small shower, bad wifi, breakfast less than basic.
2 minute walk from Earls Court underground and exhibition centre. Near lots of restaurants.
Everything was fine. The room was very clean. The staff is helpful. Great location.
Bad breakfast. Tiny room.
Excellent localization. I stayed for one week. It always was a pleasure to come back to the clean room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.
The rooms are tiny. The breakfast needs improvement.
The hotel is very basic, cramped and a bit down at heel.
Great location, good pillows, 24hr reception
Very friendly and assisting staff. Free wi-fi and much better than other similar hotels in the area.
Very small room and bathroom. No elevator
grubby room, to small, rubbish shower, very poor breakfast, dated, curtains need replaced with bedding to... Worst Iv ever stayed in.
nothing really and Iv stayed in a lot of hotels... Wish I booked somewhere else.
Nice room, staff and breakfast
enjoyed our stay. staff were very nice
To many stairs. no lift and we were on top floor.
It was a rather old type of building but the bathroom was relatively new.
