The staff were brilliant

It’s cosy and relaxing here. With respect for the history of the building the rooms are all different and tastefully decorated in classic, but modern style. I’ve come here for four years now. I love the building, the location, the décor of the rooms and the staff’s always very helpful and very kind attitude. The Spa. Ahhh Looooovely. Lovely treatments and great treaters. Pool area great.

- Room service and tearoom food: Rushton Hall is located far from shops and other restaurants hence the reason I’ve chosen the room service solution many times over the years. The first years the menu and the food was nutritious, plentiful and delicious like an exclusive café menu, but the standard has since declined noticeable.

Everything! Beautiful location, manor house, the history, the cozy grand hall, the details, the grounds, the spa, the food and the staff...you really do feel like you have escaped to a different world.

I kind of wish our room was a little bigger for the price but the size was OK and we had a nice view

Was difficult to get to from where I was but was worth the effort.

The Hotel is in a wonderful building, with great grounds and the staff were very helpful.

The breakfast is good but quite expensive

The bathroom was lovely, spacious with excellent shower and bath. Lovely bedroom with plenty of room and quaintly decorated.

Blankets on the bed and no duvet - our personal tastes would have preferred a duvet.

My wife and I have stayed at the hall (or visited) on several occasions. We have never been disappointed and we enjoy the relaxing atmosphere immensely. We are always impressed with the helpful, pleasant staff who are well versed in the skills of their trade. The evening dinner we experienced during our recent visit was absolutely superb and equal to any we have had at hotels in all parts of the country. Breakfast is always a delight ! We now look forward to our next visit

You must maintain the tennis court or it will deteriorate rapidly. My wife and I enjoy this facility but after rain, the far end could be quite dangerous if not seen to.

Just about everything- the young staff were very helpful and friendly with a smile for everything. Wonderful.

The prices were very high for everything and Breakfast was an extra - NOT one one wants on a break.

The overal experience

The Hotel did not promote of give details of the spa, and on teh web it did not say the Spa is fully booked and so treatments were very limited.

Impressive building and pleasant grounds. Staff were generally excellent.

Given that it was very quiet (just after the bank holiday), I was surprised that we weren't given the option to upgrade our room, even for an additional fee. It would have been nice to use the outdoor jacuzzi/pool, even with the inclement weather.

Liked the hotel, food, room and the staff were very friendly.

The sauna - it was old, rusty and stank, I choose hotels for sauna/spa so was disappointed it didn't match the rest of the facilities.

Comfortable place with easy access to pool and spa. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Food excellent and wines sensibly priced.

Excellent location; we lived like noble men

The hotel is just beautiful, the staff were outstanding, I stay in lots of different hotels in the uk and this is by far the best, all of the staff went that extra mike to make my stay enjoyable

De omgeving en ambiance is prachtig, evenals het interieur. Past helemaal bij de sfeer die je meteen voelt bij binnenkomst. Ontvangst is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam.

De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding van het eten en drinken. De high-tea was naar verwachting. Het ontbijt onder de maat. Geen vers fruit, beperkte keuze. Daarentegen is de prijs voor de overnachtingen redelijk goedkoop voor een dergelijke locatie.

Beautiful Historic hotel, with many original features. Relaxing environment, helpful friendly staff, excellent food. Tranquil pool and spa area, and able to walk to the pool/spa from your room in a bath robe.

The breakfast was overpriced.

The building and courtyard are nothing short of fantastic and the furnishings are beautiful. Our room was interesting- in a good way, not just the standard bland. The food was AMAZING - one of my best ever dinners. And breakfast also lovely. The pool was really nice and the outdoor spa was different and fun. As a rare weekend escape from children and routine, this place ticked all the boxes.

Barely anything, but we were told they were too busy to let us use the spa on Sunday after 11am check out, but we decided to just turn up and it was fine (and not busy!)
