nicely equipped and well layed out room. Upmarket area of London so price was relatively reasonable. Walking distance from Earls Court. Very short walk from Olympia Kensington Overground tube station.
Not hotels fault but Olympia Kensington tube station only has a direct route from underground on weekends and special occassions. If relying on tube for transportation then be aware outside these times several changes are required e.g. Earls court to West Brompton... West Brompton to Olympia Kensington.
Selection. I would prefer full English or buffet style.
The hotel was very practical as we were at an event at the Olympic and it is so close to transport links.
We had read that the rooms were small but the room we had was exceptionally small. My husband and I could get past each other in the room (both slim!)and the bed was against the wall so we had to climb over each other! Couldn't have stayed here longer than a night.
Good stay over all
The refrigerator in my room didn't work but apart from this all was good
Excellent comfortable and clean accommodation in good location. My wife and I were on a nostalgic visit and we are so glad we chose the Russell Court.
The room was small but everything you need, clean and comfortable. So there was nothing we didn't like!
Good Location Fairly Good facilities in the room Clean
Room was very hot, couldn't sleep Can't open window
Room cleanliness, price, staff helpfulness. Good continental breakfast.
No TV signal on Saturday evening One staff member not so helpful
Location for conference event
Breakfast was uninspiring glad we were only staying 2 nights.
The extra touches like the towel art(kissing swan sculptures). The larger than anticipated inclusive continental breakfast buffet.
Lack of a lounging/seating area.
Friendly receptionist on arrival Friendly staff at breakfast good local restaurants continental breakfast OK convenient for Olympia
less than helpful male receptionist who disregarded complaints about broken toilet seat and request for decaf coffee and tea in room; poor TV reception; limited English spoken by some staff
Perfectly placed for Kensington Olympia, took just a couple of minutes over the footbridge. Friendly & helpful staff, breakfast was ok, wifi worked well.
excellent Location for Olympia expo
too noisy during the night.
Staff were well mannered and helpful. Eating area staff were very easy on the eye
Room a little smaller than expected
the location near Olympia, we were there for a fair. The hotel is ok.
staff was not friendly at all.
Location to Olympia Felt very safe on own Helpful staff Standard of hotel decor and cleanliness Good continental breakfast
Very small bathroom
Privacy Cleanliness Comfort Friendliness Free Wi Fi Lift Continental Breakfast
All the rooms seemed to be very cramped with the beds pushed up against at least one wall.
Cofee and tea in the room.
Very poor and still the same breakfast.
Comfortable room, friendly welcoming staff and an excellent location for Kensington Olympia
Breakfast left a little to be desired...
unfortunately breakfast started too late for us to enjoy before going to work at Olympia
Amazing Shower Great location to get to and from the Kensington Olympia Also great location to get to all the sights in London, especially Westfields London
The room was very cramped Stains on the wall Staff just did what they had to, no more and no less. Breakfast was very basic and wished there had been cooked eggs
lovely girls on the front desk, very helpful clean, no frills, good value, great shower excellent location, relatively quite for central London
whats not to like?
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms, the beds and pillows were excellent, the shower was roomy and had good hot water with plenty of pressure. The staff were friendly and polite. A lift.
The steep steps going up to the Hotel. The rooms were smallish and 1 if not 2 people had to climb up the bed to get in properly. No cooked breakfast, but the cold buffet was excellent.
We stayed in Russell Court when I came to attend a business in a nearby location. The hotel is only a minute walk from the Kensington Olympia overground train station. Kensington high street is also a minute walk. There were lots of restaurants nearby, within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. There are Morrisons and sainsburys stores, costa cafe in the high street. The hotel is in a side road from high street, so it was not that noisy at night. Specially on a Saturday night it was very quite compared to friday and we were able to sleep well. The hotel in general was clean. The room was small, but nicely decorated, clean with an ensuit bathroom. The airconditioner was in working order, there was a small fridge and a safe. Continental breakfast was included with the room price which was served at an earlier time as I requested. The receptionist was helpful and pleasant. Overall we were happy with our stay at Russell Court and we will come back if we visit the same part of London in the future.
Small room, no parking, fridge was not cold enough. Happy with everything else.
The room was small but clean and had everything I needed.
