When there was a problem with my booking I was still given a bed for a very good deal. Kitchen is great and breakfast provided.
Dorm room was very small, full of beds and very few powerpoints.
At first I wasn't really mind about comfort or quality at all, considering the price that I am paying I would be satisfied as long as it is warm and quiet; but the stay turned out to be one worth remembering, as the staff is warm and friendly, the bed is comfy (except that quite too small), the bathroom is clean and you can always cook or eat anything available in the kitchen. Also, they have washing machine!
Beware of some other guests with unpredictable manners, eg some who will left the kitchen very dirty, hairs in the sink and shower room floor. The room is pretty small so you never feel any privacy especially when arranging huge luggage.
staff member was friendly but not very helpful
The room was small and had nothing in it other than a bed. The bed was horrendously uncomfortable. There was noise from the pipes in the room running all night There was cardboard covering the burnt mark on the bed side table, There was dust all down the side of the bed and underneath The area was not very pleasant When It came to check out. I had to leave early in the morning and informed the staff member the night before of this. As the buildings were separate from each other, me and my boyfriend found ourselves locked in the building the following morning and could not get out. After several attempts to ring the reception with no answer we had to climb out of the window in the morning to get out of the building. I was in my work clothes so I wasn't happy with this and was nearly late for work as a result. To no surprise we found no one on the reception when we finally escaped. Think this needs looking at due to fire and security hazards! Will not be staying again.
The location is quite far and there wasn't a sign or board or whatever for the hostel.
I really liked the staff very friendly. The location was amazing so close to everything.
I would of liked the staff to be around more so I would of been able to ask questions. I would of liked to be able to use a towel to in the bathroom.
The lady personnel was very helpful( i forgot her name)although it took her awhile to come when I arrived. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was good, clean with clean beddings.always have something there to drink and eat for breakfast.
The cleanliness room, floors needs to be vacuum. The kitchen ceilling is yellow stained because there is leakage of water from bathroom upstairs. Nobody empty the pan that was used for collecting the dripping water.that's why its not so comfortable to eat in that kitchen. The receptionist told me that the owner of the building was already notified, but nothing was done yet.
Poor management and poor cleanliness.
Lovely female staff member. Got a nice double bed to myself. Cheap.
The usual, people shouting down their mobile phones, making a noise. Note to such pigs - just because it is a cheap place, doesn't give you the right to shout down your phones and annoy everyone else.
Adequate facilities comfortable bed decent room.
A little bit of a trek to the nearest bus stop
Iné can fér more friends
The bath with old tap, wood window and the bed is uncomfortable
on the whole, everything was OK
but some of the guests were weird, to say the least
paid for a dorm but got upgraded to a private double result! Close to city centre
We paid for a full English breakfast each morning in advance. No breakfast. We paid for two separate single beds in an average size room with an en suite. Not bunk beds in a box room with a disgusting toilet and shower you have to share with 30 people. The staff were rude, the place was hideous, we felt completely deceived. It was just an awful experience
The guy who works there is lovely. Cheap
Obviously it is a hostel so you have to put up with other annoying people, but if you are skint then that's just the way it is.
I stayed in a 5-beds room and most of the time the beds are occupied. The mattress and duvet is very comfortable. Foods are always ready in the kitchen. Staff is very friendly. The house is clean. Very near to town and Uni of Leeds. Very suitable for those looking for a cheap stay to sleep at night.
The shower head doesn't have anything to be hooked on so you have to hold it the whole time.
Staff, Location, Quiet area but really close to city centre
Mattress was terrible, the female dorm was far small for 5 beds (even if two were bunkers), tiny room for 5 people, not enough plugs, just one celling light which made impossible to manage between sleeping times and lights on for room mates, really poor breakfast. Staff was at the hostel only after 13h. Hostel really hard to find.
Room was freezing cold all night. people downstairs kept me awake till 2 am
Most endearing and extremely helpful hostel staff I've met until now! The kitchen and livingroom provide a family atmosphere, you meet nice backpackers from all over the word and you can cook, wash your clothes, use the wifi etc. Everything's clean. No fixed breakfast times. Good value for a good price!
The low price can sometimes attract weird people, a fact the staff can't of course do very much about. However most people I've met during my stay were open-minded and very nice! The rooms are a bit small, but still okay.
very reasonable price the duty staff was very good facilities were good and in general very relaxed
It was very bad place which i was never travel. i did book online and when i want there the receptionist showed me the bed which i had to sleep on it. I went out and when i came back at the middle of night, another person was sleeping on my bed. I will never ever book for such place to go. well if you pay a little bit more, you will get a better and quality room with high security.
Everything: my room, staff, wifi connection, breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay in there. Definitely gonna come back.
It took me ages to find the hostel but maybe thats because of me.
Horrendous guests. Cheap prices obviously attract the type who don't need to get up early in the morning for anything. The noise was horrific.
Lovely man working on reception. Cheap. Free cereal.
The common room is pretty tiny. Apart from that nothing else, really can't complain at such a cheap price.
like a home
a little bit small
I liked the fact that it was a friendly place to stay and very close to the leeds city centre...I also liked that u fidnt have to vacate until 12 midday and it was continental breakfast.
I didnt like there was no t.v....no drinks or food allowed in your room.
