Friendly staff . Location and easy to find.
Would have liked a double bed . Alright for one night but not if I wanted to stay longer.
Friendly and polite staff who cared enough to sort little problems out, they value their customers. Modern bathroom and shower, clean and bright. A surprisingly high standard at a low price.
it was all good
Very good position, close to the pier and town centre. Nice sea view from bedroom window. Large, clean room, plenty of towels. Flat screen tv. Reasonable price for two nights.
Not able to fulfil request for double room despite taking money upfront some months ago. Breakfast was overpriced so didn't eat there and restaurant area looked poor with no atmosphere. Nowhere pleasant to sit in communal areas. Luckily weather was gorgeous so we were out of the hotel all day. Only there to sleep. Old fashioned bedding. Rather cold room.
Far to noisey
Staff Abrupt manner Rude Unaccomodating
Liked everything about this hotel. The room was a large twin come double & I had booked a single! It was clean & bright with own air com system. Bed was very comfortable, a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Bathroom was very roomy, clean & bright. Towels changed every day even when they didn't really need changing. Staff helpful & polite, happy to help anytime, nothing was too much trouble.
Still trying to think of something!
Hotel Manager Arun made every effort to engage with the guests. He clearly had a great connection with the rest of the staff as well.
Hotel is fairly run down and needs significant investment to spruce it up. Mattresses could do with a replacement (or at least a turn over!).
Very friendly staff and management, nice size and clean room.
Breakfast was a little expensive for travelling on a budget
good location, friendly staff, good price.
car park should be free, carpets past their best.
Friendly staff, warm smiling welcome at Reception. All Reception staff friendly. Bathroom, including the toilet, wash basin, bath and shower spotlessly clean. Bed and linen spotlessly clean. Location 5-10 minutes walk from East Cliff and shops. Breakfast scrambled eggs one of the best, soft, light and fluffy.
Shabby inside. Mirrors and glass on doors grubby, needs redecorating throughout. Outside, lots of cigarette butts and some litter, whole needs reviving, however, the new management have only been there a couple of months and have concentrated on the most important thing for guests, clean bathroom and beds. Huge task, but I look forward to the refurbishment. We wouldn't have booked if we had seen first, but glad we stayed here and would do so again.
Twice bed for couple
Friendly helpfull staff, clean tidy room with clean towels everyday, great location close to beach, shops and bars.
Having to pay to park the car at the hotel.
This place is amazing such value for money was ideal location...very clean. .staff were friendly...beds really comfy. .Def stay there again
We were at the front of the hotel and the noise from the road was extremely disturbing - as the windows have no double glazing. The lift was also a little bit dodgy.
the location the price the room was very nice
the bed was very lumpy and the floors squeeked every were you walked even in the shower room very noisey and the window seal was broken so window had moisture between the double glazing which made the views imposible
The Russell Court Hotel is in an ideal position for the beach which is less than 500metres away and less than15 mins.walk to the main shopping area.It is surprisingly quiet in the hotel even though it is close to a main road.I am not sure what 2 star means but this hotel has tea and coffee facilitys in the rooms,TV,lift, bar, restaurant and welcoming and friendly staff who take an interest in whether you are enjoying your stay. What else would you want? My partner and I really enjoyed our two nights there.Stay there and see for yourself.
High price for what it was.
Location of hotel was fantastic. Our rooms were very clean and equipped with lots of towels and range of complimentary toiletries. Found the hotel staff very polite and friendly.
Throughout the night other guests made lots of noise when returning to the hotel, making it very difficult to sleep.
location , food , staff and the place was cleen
the bed was in poor condition with springs able to be felt through the sheets meaning a good nights sleep was out of the question
Staff friendly, clean, good quality rooms near to beaches, good food.
Beds very uncomfortable,
The staff. If you want good customer service or even customer service...don't stay here.
I loved the room and the help they gave when we couldn't work the electricity. The food was lovely as well.
The check in time but that can't be avoided.
