The price of the food, and the noise form other persons late at night and the early hours, with doors banging and people talking (started at about 0425hrs and lasted until 0540hrs).

The staff were excellent, food was good. Poor Bar Area, had to eat my bar meal in the lobby which was cold. Room smelt very strongly of paint, woke with a sore throat and a headache. No lighting in the car park

We came to stay the night in order to attend a wedding in the area. We had to bring our older son who is 23, Best western Russell were the only hotel who allowed an extra adult to sleep in the room as opposed to a child. We were greatly impressed by this and will definitely use their hospitality again and recommend the hotel group to everyone, Many thanks.

The bar meal was ok. The plumbing was not working properly in the bathroom - shower barely a dribble and toilet cistern took half an hour to fill. When I reported it to the staff they just said thank you for telling us and did not even apologise or offer a reduction. The walls between rooms are thin and the couple in the next room were having a nasty argument at 2am which woke me up.

A nice building with a welcome atmosphere and smart foyer. The room was adequate, comfortable and well kept. It was a bit further away from the city centre than I would have liked, but that is the only thing I didn't like. On a positive note, the fact that it was out of town made it a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
