Seemed a bit unorganised !!
Leaving the hotel
Staff were rude. Room hadn't been renovated fro at least 10 years
Very friendly car keep safe at a reasonable price staff very helpful and food exceptional
The Buffet is good value for money. The Bar staff seem to be the only staff with any customer service, they were very good.
Having stayed a few times before (just one night before a flight) & been happy with hotel/ parking etc, I just automatically booked again when we had an early morning flight.........never again! How can you have such extremes in one hotel, we chose the extra large bed option which YOU offered only to arrive to two singles, good start to a romantic holiday away!!!!! To be honest room 405 is a disgrace, it smelt & looked far from clean & it is very shabby ( no chic here!) Is this you new policy, to let these very poor standard rooms to travellers who are only with you for a few hours so they're less likely to complain? We are also surprised how much customer service has gone down since we last stayed, with the exception of the very smart, helpful and friendly man who is usually on shift when we leave in the very early hours of the morning, everyone else looks & behaves like they are hating every second of their day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the convenience of being a short distance from gatwick airport. good food and drink in restuarant. pleasant staff and very helpful.
decor needs updating. bunk beds in family room werent really that stable and comfortable. room was very cramped.
The reception staff were absolutely brilliant, we had some queries and they were very efficient and very helpful.
Excellent parking, able to keep keys, Friendly, Good value for money, Quick in and out.
All is good , Poor WIFI connections.
Nothing much. I would never stay here again.
Room was very hot and only way to cool it down was to open the window. This greatly increased the noise of aircraft flying into/out of Gatwick every two minutes. So we could boil in the room with the window shut (it only opened 200mm anyway), or suffer jet noise. Either way we could get no sleep! The fabric of the actual building and external decor is in very sad state.
ROOM WAS DIRTY, STAINED, TIRED, UNCOMFORTABLE, AS WAS BATHROOM, HOTEL OVERALL. STAFF NEED CUSTOMER TRAINING! BREAKFAST WAS BASIC AND FOOD QUALITY WAS AWFUL. FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME STAY.
all ok based on price for area
Mostly everything the whole hotel needs revamping
Breakfast was too expensive and no choice of having a continental breakfast. We didn't want a full english breakfast. Wi-fi wasn't in our room hence had to be be in the entrance of the Hotel.
Good hotel to stop over for 1 night and leave the car in a safe and secure car park. Check in was quick and efficient and coach to Gatwick early next morning was fine.
Food was fantastic
Room was a bit dated
The staff are so helpful and friendly, they try and meet your every need.
We could book in late , did not have to be out before 12 noon , apart from the aircraft going over head which you get use to it was quiet , nice shower , lots of pillows , helpful people at reception and a bus to the airport/railway station
Booked to rooms , one turned out to be a twin disabled room which was changed and in the second room the double bed was not 'firm' so when two of you in it , you rolled into the middle . (family room, double bed and bunk bed which would have done for three adults , but was shown as for two adults and two children)(could have saved some money)
We arrived at hotel only to be told our room was outside in a separate building. When we got to the room it stank of damp and was clammy and there was mold in the bathroom. When we complained we were told they only had single room in the hotel so we had to take that and my husband slept on the floor. Very disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.
Rooms spacious, make your own tea and coffee in room. Nice location.
Food expensive and bland.
Had a refurbished room. Modern fresh and comfortable. Lady on Reception is lovely and recognised me from previous visits.
Room quite small
The room was comfortable and clean. We got a budget room and for what we paid I was happy with it.
The staff were very helpful
Food could have been better The single rooms had little or no storage.
staff very friendly clean substanial restaurant good location parking on site location is good for Gatwick felt secure, for parking and sleeping very grand looking would stay again
a little clearer signage for directions
Quiet. Polite and helpful staff
Wndow to hallway in room. No phone service at all
The room was lovely overlooking a lovely field with 3 horses in it, spacious, clean. There are lovely walks through the wood just behind the hotel. But its also close to Gatwick airport.
The planes flying overhead are very loud and disturbed me the first night, but by the second night I had got used to them.
It was way too small. bathroom was so very small that couldn't fit even smallest person of us. We chose this not of less price but cos of closest to our location.
