Good car parking facilities within the Hotel grounds. Standard rooms rather small, lack of any ventalation/extraction fan in bathrooms, towels provided were worn and frayed (well past their use by date). |

Reception staff very friendly but i think the staff in the restaurant could do with a bit of training in customer service. We went for a carvery meal and as soon as the staff knew we didn't want to order food they left us to it, at no time did they ask if we were ok or offer to bring us drinks...The room although clean was shabby, the curtain was hanging off the rail and the heating in the room was not working. I guess you get what you pay for in this life so was not really supprised. I think this hotel has just been taken over so maybe it needs time to be updated, but i have no doubt that when it is the prices will double as it has great potential. |

This hotel is tired, however, it offers good value for money on a stopover basis only particularly taking the parking into account. As previously stated the hotel is tired, in particular the bedrooms with old fashioned furniture and washed out bed linen with beds which are too hard. |

Clean, comfortable, affordable friendly and helpful staff. I would have liked to have had internet access and suggest a service that is chargeable by the hour. |

A period style building but with modern facilities. What appeared to be the water heating system came ito action at 3.30am with a fair amount of noise, disturbings sleep that had been hard acquired due to noisy guests. |

The food was good and they offered a good range and had some good offers ie the pizza and beer offer which we took advantage off, was fantastic value for money and very tasty. The staff were very helpful. There were a couple of niggly things ie no batteries in tv remote, no aerial for the tv, attention to cleaning in corners needs to be applied. |

That I could leave my car there whilst I went on holiday from Gatwick. I have never, in all my life, (& I am over 60) tried to sleep in more uncomfortable beds (rooms 127 & 226) On returning from holiday my husband & I spent night on floor as it was more comfortable. My husband said that when he was in the forces the beds were better. The hotel food was very expensive, nothing included in nightly rate, breakfast at over £13 too expensive. |

The delight of the Nelson Suite for our stay when celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary prior to our holiday abroad was a bonus. The absence of a lift to assist with the luggage and persons with disabilities was a severe disadvantage. |

The front desk staff were most helpful and polite. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and it was exceptional. Breakfast was great also. We would stay there for a short stay anytime. I enjoyed the use of free WiFi access. A bit too far from Gatwick airport, but the bus service makes up for that. |

The rooms were damp. We arrived late and had to change rooms because of the damp. The staff were helpful. The new foom hyad less damp but crisps on the floor in the corner. The bed was uncomfortable. The proximity to the airport was listed in as the crow flies miles. The actual distance is greater than stated. |

We stayed at Russ Hill prior to our holiday and to leave our car. The room was super verry large, breakfast was good. Car parking during our holiday was fine and wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel before heading off to the airport. Would definately use this hotel again for both parking and overnight stay. |

Convenience / Gatwick Very loud noise until 1.0 am. Felt sorry for those on an early flight. Room was scruffy - marks on the carpet and curtains. Some of the boarding was coming away from the walls. Restaurant bright and cheerful, shame the rooms were not the same! |

The breakfast is the only plus, The courtyard rooms are terrible. Small, no window, musty smell, with bed shoved into an alcove, you had to jump over one another to get in and out of bed. Bathroom was also tiny. Reception staff could do with some training on customer service. |
