Located on the North Shore, just a short walk from the centre, this well-run, attractive and welcoming hotel ticked all the boxes. Lovely staff who were exceptionally polite and helpful; lovely, roomy bar area and comfortable bedrooms - couldn't ask for more.

Friendly owners Kay and Adrian and pleasant staff, clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. Good breakfast, plenty to eat!. Comfortable lounge upstairs with bar and views out to sea. Cuddly dog was a nice bonus while sitting and chatting to owners. Will be back next visit to Blackpool :)

Pet hate of standard size shower cubicle in spacious bathroom but plenty of hot water. No complaints though and would definitely stay there again. Was holiday season so parking difficult on street and expensive in adjacent hotel car park but would rather pay than risk car getting damaged.

We stayed at The Rutland in July 2014 and really enjoyed our time there. The owners were friendly and instantly make us feel welcome. Our rooms was clean and a nice size, perfect for the 2 of us. Breakfast was great and there was the option of going for either a full english or continental. The weather was lovely and it was great sitting in the bar with the windows open looking onto the beach. The hotel is really near a tram stop which makes it really handy to get into the centre - it's only a 5 minute journey. I'd definitely recommend the hotel :)

The Rutland Hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were all lovely & welcoming. Great location with tram & bus stops right outside hotel. Hotel very clean, breakfast was fab & great having a bar inside hotel at the end of our busy day sightseeing to have a nice glass of wine or two! Would definitely recommend this hotel for couples & families.

Our room was on the top floor & no lift! Otherwise cannot fault hotel

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast, and great location right on the waterfront. Free WiFi in the dining room and the lounge/bar.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, but at the time of booking, the website led me to believe that 1:Free WiFi would be available everywhere, including in the room, and 2: That the hotel had a private parking space so we would have no problems leaving the car for a couple of days. The WiFi was only available in the public areas, so we could not plan our day in the privacy of the room, and with only one or possibly 2 parking spaces by the hotel(Which were of course both occupied), we parked at the nearby Hilton's parking lot and paid £5 per day for parking there.
