The room and easy access to city centre Breakfast was poor, tea and coffee not fresh which is the least I would expect, which gave a bad start to the day. Also, the fact that there is parking for guests under the NCP is not made clear before arrival. |

Staff friendly and food nice. Welcoming atmosphere. Easy access to town centre shopping. Mattress rather uncomfortable and double bed rather small. Hotel needs a little decorative encouragement. Breakfast spoiled by serving tea and coffee out of flasks, despite plenty of staff. |

Ease of check in, friendliness of staff and I was offered an upgrade. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was not great in terms of being a vegetarian. Not much options/alternatives to meat. Fruit juices were allowed to run low as well as bread and croissaints. While I was aware that the hotel was not full, it should still matter. |

Great location just up from the Castle (and more importantly the Olde Trip to Jerusalem!). Good sized comfortable room with nice bathroom. Service at breakfast was very slow. |

Parking was right outside the hotel which was so close to the city centre, It was a real easy walk in and back to the shops for the children and myself, with comfortable rooms. I was waiting to check in and a lady in front of me had a Christmas Party that she was trying to pay for but did not know exactly what and how much. The receptionist handled her really well, but it would have helped me if she had asked me if I was checking in and wished to park my car. As I stood there for 15 mins or more and I had left 3 children in the car outside, which I could have easily parked while the christmas lunch lady was sorting out her enquiry. |

Small comfortable hotel close to the city centre and castle. The pull out beds were in poor condition and the family room had only a shower which is not great for kids or toddlers |

Warm bright reception. Cheerful and helpful staff - who were prepared to go out of their way. Central location with parking facility at a reasonable price. Insufficient lighting in the room. |

Very friendly helpful staff at the reception desk. I'd stay there again if all I was doing was sleeping there - see below. The double room in which I was the sole guest, was tiny - I don't know how a couple would find room to use it. There was so little space to get dressed I would nearly have gone out into the corridor! The view from the bedroom was of a multistorey car park and the small radiator looked ancient but given the tiny size of the room, it did its job. Despite having the usual 'hang your towels up if you want to use them again to save the environment' my towels were replaced. Why bother having the notice if staff are not implementing the policy. |

The location is very good - handy for Trent Bridge and for the shopping centre. The personnel we encountered were professional, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was shabby. Damp patches on the ceiling, missing painting, poor quality fittings, poor quality tv, poor (non-existent) ventilation in the bathroom. I could go on, but it was disappointing, as we had booked a 'premium' room. |

The size of the room was poor, it was sold as a double room but room dimensions were not adequate. Poor sound insulation properties, through the walls, window and door. |
