Flush on the toilet needed attention
Breakfast was extensive
The rooms were small. Wifi connection was poor. The hallways are very dark and make you feel locked in.
Attension from the staff, polite and responsive
Car parking facility
I liked the boutique nature of the hotel. Unique and quirky I really liked the styling and the individuality of the hotel. Location is excellent
Car park. I felt that the car park let the hotel down . Where I parked was scruffy and dark and didn't feel like part of the hotel at all. I had a concern that my car would be broken into or would be left with no wheels. It was a shame as the actual hotel itself was great
Location. Quiet from traffic. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean and comfortable. Service at breakfast. Intimate environment. . Wild decor. European feel.
Paying to park car, but I understand it and I like that it's not a covert payment.
The location was brilliant - not far from the train station and within easy walking distance to the town centre. Staff were very friendly. Printing services at a reasonable cost.
WiFi drops quite regularly.
Very helpful staff. The single room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on it but enjoyed the free glass of wine in the early evening.
The bar area wasn't cosy enough to really relax in.
Décor, staff, bathroom
The wide choice at breakfast and the general helpfulness of the staff.
The room was very small for a twin. This meant there was no spare space for suitcases or other bags.
Location and decor
Fact hotel took double payment and only refunded after I alerted then after checking bank. Hotel reponse to this very poor!
The staff were very helpful
The hot part of the breakfast buffet was cold, the housekeeping staff didn't listen too well to specific instructions.
Although a large hotel beautiful appointed we felt cared for and comfortable .. unlike a chain hotel ..It was warm and friendly ..thoroughly enjoyable stay.
I can't think of anything negative to say.
Pretty hotel , well furnished and the room was beautiful with a lovely four poster bed . Warm comfortable and good staff who were polite and helpful
No mini bar in the room and a little sign to the lift area would be good
Fantastic room, delicious breakfast. Short walk to get us right into centre of Nottingham.
The service was great. Breakfast was tip top. Overall a great stay. Would defo recommend it to people.
Haven't got any comments.
The entrance as you walk in is beautiful , Breakfast was a great choice
The bed too small and not comfortable
It was a bit cold
What a great hotel! Spacious, clean modern reception and greeted by a friendly receptionist. Room compact, clean and comfy bed, bathroom clean, good shower and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast first class, so much choice. The staff were the friendliest, happiest people we have come across in a long time. And all within 10 mins of tourist spots and restaurants,
I am being a bit picky, but did feel the air conditioning was a bit cold in the bar.
Excellent location, very attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Nice décor and sumptuous surroundings.
Room was comfortable but a little compact, nowhere to hang towels to save on washing.
The opulent design of both rooms and the reception areas
The decor in the room was a little tired, particularly in the bathroom
Great location and hotel with character. Helpful friendly staff and good food. Good value for money. I would return.
Lack of sleep as a result of other drunken occupants - however soft close doors would have helped quite a lot to reduce the banging doors 2.30am to 5.30am. Putting larger groups of friends on the same floor so they were not roaming the hotel corridors shouting to locate each other and disturbing others.
The fact it was a newish hotel, the staff where all very attentive. Checking in and out went smoothly.
There where too many breakfast staff on both days, which some people like but we found it too much.
Good breakfast Good location, next to castle.
The room was a bit small.
The décor was great and very quiet to say how close it was to the city centre
The room was a bit cold but soon warmed up when we put the heater on
Always a pleasure to say here have stayed 4 times during 2014 both with partner and with children, staff always polite, room always good, breakfast always good. Nothing negative to say.
