Room arrangement best we've encountered with chairs for watching TV and a desk. Bathroom suite was very well thought out.. All the staff encountered were always extremely helpfull and friendly. Breakfasts were good.
Our room was excellent. Very clean, quiet being at the end of the building, comfortable bed - with all that we needed.
The food. Many items ie. pasta, muffins etc was not available. The first morning the breakfast included hash browns and two eggs. The following two mornings the kitchen was out of hash browns and we only had one egg. Tea/coffee not replenished and many more shortages.
The location was superb as was the car parking. All areas clean and comfortable.
Dog friendly. Sky, Julia, Dean and Danny extremely efficient and a happy team! Well done and many thanks - can't wait to stay again.
Breakfast wasn't very tasty.
Firstly a very big thank you to Dean who was our host/waiter in the restaurant very professional and friendly. The hotel has a real luxury feel and appearance, the furnishings throughout are great lots of character not your average cheap tut you'd normally find at a premier inn. The food from the restaurant was lovely. We stayed in a superior double room which was gorgeous, comfy bed and spacious room/bathroom. No complaints at all.
The room was fab, good location.
Could have left more coffee and sugar sachets in the room.
Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were attentive, helpful and courteous.Good selection of food available in the restaurant
Wifi was a bit of pain as it wouldn't stay logged in but there was 4g so wasn't an issue.
Beds comfortable, shower brilliant, breakfast excellent!
Room was on the second floor which was not ideal as we had a 20 month old child, but we weren't to bothered. Entered the room which was on the small side.
When we arrived at the hotel, first impressions were very good. Plenty of parking and clean. Once entered we were greeted by friendly staff. Entrance was clean, tidy and well presented. Sea view was great as the sun was out and we had blue sky's. Bed was really comfy.
The lift did not go any higher than the first floor. The bedroom was a little on the small side.
The hotel was on the sea front , it was in a really good location. Within easy reach of ferry, hovercraft, train and stations. Close to shops. The staff were really helpful and the hotel was really clean and tastefully decorated.
All of it
Sea view, helpful, friendly staff good car parking and general ambience.
No laundry facilities - unbelievable. They pointed me to the nearest launderette , !
The sausages used in the traditional breakfast
The hotel was in a good spot to access other facilities Ryde has to offer
It was very close to habour and no need for taxis everything close by very good selection at breakfast.
The bed in room 1 was very comfortable, we wanted to take it home! Staff all very friendly and helpful. Despite there being a wedding reception with disco, a live singer in the bar (both on Saturday) and the room overlooking the car park and main road, we hardly heard any noise.
The toilet blocked and overflowed all over the bathroom. Waitress kept forgetting parts of orders. Wedding that was going on resulted in a particularly loud couple screaming on the first floor until 3am. Not impressed. Wifi signal is really bad.
Food, staff and the general feel of the place. 2nd visit.
The staff couldn't do more to make our stay wonderful. At breakfast neither my fiancée or I wanted a big breakfast and they let us order what we wanted even though it was not on the menu.
We requested a superior room with a sea view room over a month in advance, however when we arrived the receptionist said there were none available.we finished up in a room at the rear of the hotel on the 1st Floor the room was not bad but the noise from outside the rear windows, the flushing of WCs above, and running water throughout, noise of extract fans etc, made it uncomfortable. We would not stay there again
Central to the pier and hovercraft to Portsmouth
there were obviously staff shortages but managers very good
Understaffed in the Restuarant, very slow to take orders. No where to sit and relax with a coffee or newspaper. Limited soft seating in bar or reception area. All very functional
The location, views, easy parking. Good food
Everything, this was our 5th time of staying at the hotel and our opinion has not changed of the hotel
free wi-fi didnot work!
staff were great helpful and friendly , especially blonde waitress. Always smiling always helpful.
