Location Decor of hotel Friendly staff
Room perfectly adequate if a little small
Staff excellent position excellent nice hotel the bar in the hotel was very good and very friendly staff
the hotel is getting old difficulty getting suitcases in and out of the hotel the restaurant was just average
Comfortable bed . Great breakfast . Helpful staff . uses at door and metro along road . Access to all necessary items and restaurants.
Location is good with stores nearby like Paul, Waitrose and Tesco. Famous museums are all within walking distances.
We asked for a room with a bathtub, but we were given one with a shower. They did change our room on the following day though.
Very nice servers, esp the young lady who works in the bar.
Did not get my wake-up calls.... Twice! Wi-Fi should be complimentary.
They swapped our room which was an executive t a normal double & a single on day arrived so no warning & not even a drink t compensate also thought we had full breakfast but only got continental staff unhelpful for the money not impressed!!
Rooms were so tiny . Too hard!
Staff were helpful and location in Kensington near to tube and buses into town is a definite plus. Lots of great eateries and cafes in South Kensington and Gloucester road area give you choices....Will definitely recommend this hotel.
Room 105...was sandwiched in between two work pantries and could be a tad noisy in the mornings....
Quieter area for a visit in August when London is so busy. Very convenient to Underground, and Hop on Hop off bus. Easy walking to good pubs and restaurants and Kensington Palace and Gardens
Staff especially at breakfast
Room size for the price
Otherwise you are in a dismal dirty basement. Bathrooms big but bedrooms very tiny ! Could barely open suitcase really! While hotel needs paint and new carpet in common areas. Would be major better impression
As stated above
The location was excellent
the bathrooms were too small. Your knees knocked on the shower screen when you wanted to use it. My husband chose to use the toilet downstairs in the bar when possible as it was more comfortable
Good location, close to many historic sites. Food is good. Staff helpful.
Room noisy due to location near kitchen, minimal closet space. Room small given that it was executive king room. Was charged for full breakfast although continental was prebooked. Bar may not serve food.
Fantastic location, food fresh and wonderful. Not bad value for London
Some staff were not as friendly and helpful as the majority. Rooms very small but had everything we needed. Tiny ensuite for big Aussies !
Professional staff who are helpful Free wifi Location
Twin rooms are appalling located on the lower ground floor where it is dark and dingy Super upper level Executive Room is comfortable but air conditioning is noisy and the sink was slow running the bathroom. Poor lighting in the hallways made it all feel dark. Lighting was poor in the bathroom.
Location perfect to travel every where using Underground and bus.
WiFi is Free but needs to be re-connected every less than one hour.
tiny rooms and very unfriendly staff.
The staff were excellent, very polite and couldn't do enough for us. The food that we had was good. the hotel is 2 mins walk from the tube.
There was thick black gunge underneath the air-conditioning unit. The bed was too soft, therefore we had a terrible nights sleep. The service in the restaurant was very, very slow. I had to wait 15 mins for a drink before my evening meal, and we were the only patrons in there! The breakfast the following morning also took a long time to be served. We were ushered out of the hotel bar at 10.30pm would of liked to enjoy a few drinks after our night out.
Convenience Helpful staff Great value Spotlessly clean
good location, a few minutes walk to tube station
Stayed at the hotel twice ... the first good and the second bad
High quality of standard: bed, breakfast Staff very helpful Great location to visit London and specially the museum
Lovely room and staff very helpful especially Janel and Angela. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Would stay here again. Minutes away from tube station.
Wifi kept disappearing on iPhone so had to keep registering. Not a real problem but inconvenient.
