Friendly staff who wanted to make us comfortable. Relaxed atmosphere.

The bed. The mattress had springs which you could feel.

Staff was excellent. Convient to tube and bus lines.

Entrance is hard manage with the steps.

Excellent breakfast and a very friendly team working to please clients; the reception arrival is friendly and attentive to needs and directions

The staff was amazingly helpful even before we arrived. The hotel was really convenient for us. The room was terrific and we would be happy to come back on our next visit.

The location

At arrival the hotel charged my credit card 100 pounds more than the amount due for the room and reimbursed me in cash when I left. It is the first time this happens in a hotel; what is the point of such practice?

The Hotel room size- despite my booking a larger 'executive king' room - ie. 1 size up from the standard room size even the bed was a really a tight squeeze in the room. I don't know how the standard double could have been any smaller. For the £145 price I expected a bit larger with a nicer view (instead of a view of air conditioning units), especially since breakfast wasn't even included. I just gave up and upgraded to the larger room for another £15 which was a dramatic improvement.

Extremely comfortable. The Jam Cupboard food delicious and their staff attentive and friendly.

We found the breakfast disappointing. My son ordered a bacon sandwich. It took a while to arrive,and it was very dry and toast seemed overcooked . The staff didn't look happy ,which was a marked difference from the evening before. Continental breakfast was plentiful and choice good.

Clean and efficient check-in and check-out. Good breakfast service. My trip was for business and this hotel, as a hassle free clean stop-over suited my requirements perfectly.

The room, whilst perfect (as was the en-suite) was somewhat cramped for space around the sleeping area

Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast with personal attention from manager. The location was excellent as we had to get to Heathrow en route for Milan and I had the best ever night.s sleep.The staff were most helpful with advice etc.

Room decoration was fantastic. Comfortable beds. Room size was fine for our needs. Bathroom clean and modern with toiletries that you could actually use... loved the coffee bags...

Nothing really-the hotel suited us just fine. Room wasn't quite ready for us when we arrived-we had about a thirty minute wait which wasn't a huge problem.

Excellent location at one of the best areas of London. Walking distance to Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park.

Price a bit on the high end but you pay for the location.

Best continental breakfast. Beds comfy, good toiletries in bathroom.

Bathroom very hot. Annoying when key cards to rooms didn't work and the need to keep getting them reissued at reception , staff could be friendlier.

Room was really very small for a couple + a toddler. Hotel gave a Graco playard for toddler but there was no space at room and we couldn't use it. There was a door between our room door and corridor and it was like a trap with stoller. And when you open the door there was high stairs, not secure for a toddler.

the accommodation and amenities are very nice and the location is superb.

the bathroom does not have shower curtain or shower door so the bathroom floor got wet after each shower.

Staff were always helpful and Knowledgeable. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. It was ideally located to shopping, or for sight seeing, close to the tube and bus tours.

Fridge in room was way too small, and wireless internet wasn't free. Breakfast was expensive and didn't offer much in choice
