Despite reservations below, it was convenient for our purpose (sight-seeing in area). More traffic noise than expected (main bedroom window only single-glazed). Water only warm enough for 'hot' shower on one of three days. Matress not particularly comfortable |

Convenient stop en route from Bamburgh to London The quantity of food - a little less would have been more appealing when presented |

The room was lovely, except the radiator wouldn't switch off so it got rather hot, as it was August. Apart from that it was lovely- friendly staff, excellent food and good location. |

It was clean. The owners were very efficient. The full English breakfast was the best that I have ever eaten! Fabulous. We only stayed there one evening and it served our purposes splendidly. |

The staff were friendly and the food was adequate and plentiful. Value for money was good with reasonable rooms. Little things such as towels not being changed when left out for replacing and the first night we ate in the conservatory which was far too warm even on a spring evening. |
