No easy instructions for the stove. Cutlery was low quality. No good bread knives for cutting.

Location was good, clean. Very secure building. Good balcony views.

The Postcode....Two cars with satnav could not find it, we had to come out to find them. No curtains in the ensuite bedroom which was odd, had to make a curtain with sheet etc...very blue peter. The roman and greek décor was interesting. The duvets were winter ones and well heavy. But we had a good time which was the main thing.

The location, looking out over part of the harbour and Swansea Bay is very nice. The interior has been tastefully designed. The facilities including parking are more than adequate.

I don't know if the arrival and payment procedures that we were subjected to are the norm, but we were asked to collect the keys and final instructions at an address in town which added half an hour to our already very long yourney. We were also expected to make payment at the same address in town which would have meant leaving at 6:30 to keep our appointment on the day when we left. I feel that these two conditions are somewhat client unfriendly and should be addressed by the owners.

    Very friendly owners. Fantastic apartment.

If you have a large car, the carpark is quite small/narrow. There is another literally opposite however, which costs £4 per day.

Just what the doctor ordered really. Needed a homely hole in the wall as opposed to hotel room & all that goes with it. Philip made us feel most welcome. Accommodation was pristine. We felt comfortable & relaxed. Would have liked to stay longer and probably will in the near future.

Check-in time could be earlier for others but wasn't a problem for us on the day.

location really good for access to restaurants & Swansea town centre, as well as proximity to the Gower TV was excellent

lack of facilities, e.g. no casserole dish to use in the oven for the price, expected some basic toiletries, pint of milk, etc. Penthouse suggests top floor & panoramic view but there was another apartment above us with full views, ours was obscured by balcony tarnished sofa cushion needs replacing & en-suite shower door needs attention, also need sheets to fit the mattress height en-suite too crowded, could do with wall cupboard/shelving & remove two floor cupboards also lack of wardrobe would be an issue if staying for a longer duration

The penthouse apartment is ideal for exploring Swansea and The Gower. Situated right on the marina, the balcony views are excellent and uninterrupted. We liked being close to the working locks and busy marina life because you see it all without being disturbed. The apartment itself is very nice and contains all you need for an enjoyable, easy stay. Wifi is free and fast, making it suitable for both leisure and commercial visitors. There is a serious tv system if you are into that sort of thing but any time we were not sightseeing, we were on the balcony so didn’t really use it. Everything was spotless with a few thoughtful touches. The owners are friendly and helpful and booking was straightforward. The secure underground parking bay is close to the lift which always worked and we heard no noise from other residents. There are a few café bars and restaurants within a short walk, a big Sainsbury’s is less than half a mile away and a Tesco Express is in the next road so food and supplies etc are well catered for. Mumbles is 4 miles away and our starting point to exploring. The weather was glorious whilst we were there but traffic kept moving even though it was busy. It was a delight to do our sight seeing and return to the penthouse each day; you can’t help but feel relaxed and away from it all. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and we hope to return in September. Tip: Take a bottle of fizz and two glasses, walk over the bridge, turn left and wander down to the small beach. Very quiet early evening and the perfect spot to enjoy a romantic moment.
