A short walk from the town bridge over the historic Weymouth Harbour, this traditional hotel provides comfortable accommodations, a restaurant and bar, and easy access to the beach, a 10-minute walk...

the single bed had dirty stains on the bed covers.kettle on the floor(dangerous) no chair in the room, the basin was to small ,no toiletries in the room no hoovering done even when we asked untill you left breakfast cold not enough tea in the room when they refilled.below the water line in loo needs bleaching no dress mirror no shower mat no head towels or hand towels or flannels
First class staff very helpful all round. Great location Very good breakfast from 06:30 Ideal base for diving or fishing We will be going back for our next diving weekend
Top floor rooms in the attic - mind your head going up and down stairs. Parking is on street with a permit but the council only allow 3 permits for 5 rooms - book early! We were unlucky to have a bunch of drunks in the next room who smashed the light fitting on the landing and spread glass down the stairs and blood down the walls but I don't think that they will be staying again!
Not a lot
Bed Room Choice of drinks Breakfast, beans tasted of vinegar

Too much noice most evenings, It would be ok friday-sunday but not working days. Broken or bad condition of facilities.
Excellent location Some nice beers
I booked 2 rooms, an ensuite double and a triple room (with no towels provided and a shared bathroom, which was not clean and had a large puddle of water on it's floor throughout our stay) for a family reunion at the end of August. The double was £80 B&B, for me and my partner, and the triple room was £90 for my 3 adult children. I paid the £170 on arrival and then had to pay a further £10 per room, in cash, as a deposit for the keys, tv remotes and a parking permit! In the triple room one bed was broken and we were told it could not be used. Whilst my eldest son could not come, I had already offered his bed to my nephew - who had to camp out of town instead. Why wasn't I told this before I paid? When we got back to the pub it was extremely noisy as a live band were playing, but we were reassured they would stop at midnight, however, it was 1a.m before the music ended. Breakfast was decidedly mediocre and of poor quality. On checking out I returned the keys, remotes and parking permit to reclaim my £20, and queried the triple room price I had paid, as a single bed had been declared broken and unusable by a member of hotel staff- only to be told I had not paid per room but per person? So, since only 4 adults had stayed, surely I should have been refunded £30? I feel totally ripped off and hope prospective guests read this before they book
The pub, friendly atmosphere, Vicki very welcoming and helpful, lovely woman
Bed a bit small
Disappointed with attitude of staff re parking situation, room had a plumbing problem which despite promises was never repaired. Housekeeping service was severely lacking, unmade beds, unwashed cups, poor hygiene. We couldn't wait to leave!
Staff very friendly and helpfull room basic but clean brilliant location for the harbour and not far from seafront not ideal for those who want to sleep in
The noise outside early morning but can't be helped part of the location
The room was nice with a window to the harbour (3 bed)
There was a notice about musical productions in the pub six nights of week... but not a notice that the room is directly above the pub. It was like lying in the bed in front of loudspeakers. When the people were jumping, me in the room too... the floor is very thin, you can here people speaking. May be the rooms in the second floor are quiet.
The location is good, directly located next to the habour. Not much trafic at night, so no noise problems. Pub noise also OK
The beds were outright horrible. Cheap, instable metal-frame, squeaking with every move you make. Especially important as one the beds in our room (#1) was a bunk bed because of the small floor space, it took a lot of nerves to sleep in the lower bed, as it feels like the top bed could come crashing down any time. Matress thin, you can clearly feel the springs. Sleep on these beds is impossible. Beds should be changed immediately as they pose a serious threat to the health of the guests. The advertised parking permit was not avialable, obviously there was only one permit, and it was reserved for another customer. As there is no way of parking there without a permit, this cost me a 25 pound parking ticket. Unless the management adresses these issues immediately, I would strongly recommend to give this place a miss.
Friendly staff execelent breafast could do with one now lovely
Staff very friendly and accomodating, very welcoming to both myself and my 12 yr old son. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and intend to make a return trip back there next year.Facilities first class.

Nothing to dislike
The breakfast was nice and the room was nice
The wi-Fi and Tv were poor and noisy in the early morning with other residents
Being by the harbour to see a little of the fishing life and crabbing. Food was good kept us going to night time. The room wr stayed in was just right for me and my daughter.
Weymouth harbour waters could be a little cleaner.
Staff very helpful and made us welcome
My partner is bit tall keep forgetting there was low ceilings
The staff were very friendly especially Vicky
Couldn't afford to stay longer
very friendly welcome from Vicky
small room, overlooked communal bathroom from bedroom window. if both windows ajar could hear toilet being used. shower spray too big to fit in holder, so had to shower with one hand. shower tray orange with dirt. plastic covers on mattress and pillows, uncomfortable in the heat. BE AWARE live music 5 nights a week, on our visit the bands encore finally ceased at half midnight
The location is excellent. Our room had recently been renovated and was lovely. Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly. Great live entertainment. Essential to request parking permit.
good location, good staff. enjoyed the folk music evening, nice feel about the place.

cramped loft room
