The location of the hotel
Location, friendly staff.
Difficulty shutting shower/toilet door tight.
Great breakfast, welcoming and chatty staff. Additional tea and coffee in rooms, good quality hot chocolate. Relaxing break we thoroughly enjoyed!
Feel we missed out on the 1940's cafe attached, didn't realise until last day. Not enough advertising. Consider putting info in room, we would have visited!
Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Staff very helpful.
The bed was to small I should have asked for bigger one when booking
location, quaintness of building, also quiet, good .
staff not very friendly, but not rude either. Slow serving breakfast which was good. Didn't use Wi-Fi. At end of season so not many people there even tho it was Halloween. convoluted maze of passages to get to room, but we did it . Narrow stairs, turnings to negotiate so not recommended for those with walking problems. We did enjoy our stay regardless of issues!
Probably couldn't get a better located hotel 2 minute walk to town centre and sea front staff very polite and rooms very comfortable and clean breakfast was very nice and hot, will stay here again
There was a problem with the plumbing and you could smell this in the bedroom and passageway which was not very nice.
near sea, shops. staff very friendly. great breakfast, reasonable priced
had to check in by 9.30pm which was a bit difficult for me.
Location of hotel. Breakfast very good. right next door to a car park that you could park your car for 24 hours for £7.00
Decor was poor, stains on sheets. Toilet not cleaned very well on the outside. Whole room was quite shabby. Biggest problem was the strong odour of wet pets in bar and foyer. we would not have stayed here if we knew it allowed dogs into the bar area which was directly next door to the restaurant ...because of the unpleasant odour we did not dine at the hotel in the evening.
SLIGHT SMELL OF DRAINS OUTSIDE ROOM. OLD CUPBOARD IN ROOM VERY SMELLY,YOU WOULNT HANG YOUR CLOTHES IN IT AS THEY WOULD SMELL.
Location was great and breakfast was one of the best we've had.
No parking and very small twin bedroom. Difficulty getting past the bed and wardrobe to get to bathroom. The bedside light was left unplugged, so had to move the furniture around in a small space to get behind the bed.
Location , pleasant staff
Very small room with tiny window that looked out on to a wall , Clostraphobic .
Room was perfect big bathroom separate bedroom for little lad. Good breakfast, and very helpful staff. Perfect for town also.
Close to town
Young staff did not have a clue what to do turned up for 2pm check in and had to wait till 3pm for room. Shower just dribbled out seemed like mouldy patches on pillow. Breakfast was made with cheap ingredients. Worst ive tasted for a long time. Had Id seen the owner or anyone of authority I would of complained but just kids who did not have a clue and quite frankly couldnt really care. No doubt the owner will read this review and like many others will choose to ignore it, so ive decided to contact booking.com to advise them of the poor quality of sevice, room, food... we had for £85:00 and hopefully this review will help fellow travellers from wasting £85:00. I do look forward to hearing from the owner but not holding my breath,.
Location was perfect for enjoying Tenby. Short stroll to the beach and even shorter walk to Tenby's shops, cafes and pubs. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Breakfast was good and we would definitely return.
arrived on the day of ironman to a friendly helpful welcome, well positioned hotel parking two minute walk away £2 for 24hrs, full english breakfast without being greasy, meals are all freshly cooked
lovely comfortable room and friendly staff, and very convienient location.
Not always easy to get hold of a member of staff, the ones that were there worked very hard but they seemed short staffed.
Location is perfect
Although staff were friendly they did not seem to have a clue about running a hotel. It could do with a good clean and overhaul of decor etc. It could be a nice place to stay as location is great.
Comfortable Room Clean Room/Bathroom Comfortable Bed Excellent Breakfast choices Very quiet even at busy times
Wifi very intermittent Room quite small but adequate No fridge in room No parking
Comfortable and clean great breakfast
Good location very comfortable beds, lovely food
Staff all friendly and welcoming. Excellent location for exploring Tenby. Breakfast very good!
No parking at the hotel so ended up paying 7) £7 per day for parking. The room was quite chilly in spite of radiators being on. These could not be turned up any further. The walls looked grubby and in need of a lick of paint. The shower was cold whenever I used it and the inside of the wardrobe smelt woody? One other thing. My duvet had a sticky drink stain that was recently spilt. I would not stay here again!
Staff Breakfast Location:- just across the road from the five arches entrance to the old town and not far to both beaches and the harbour Nearby parking (free overnight but you have to move the car by 8.30 a.m. to a nearby car park)
Small room but we booked late and other rooms may be bigger, although the room was nice and clean with a large shower.
Location couldn't be better. The staff although friendly and helpful, seemed stretched. Breakfast service was tedious due to breakfast waiter having to check guests out.
Front of hotel looks good but beyond the bar/ restaurant, the room we had was dated, tired looking. Very small window and wasn't worth the money. Staff were stretched and service was slow. Wifi didn't work in room.
